WOR$T GIRL IN AMERICA<\/a><\/em>, Slayyyter’s awesomely fried level-up LP, is Stereogum’s favorite album of 2026 thus far<\/a>, and it has brought Slayyyter an unprecedented level of hype. Slayyyter’s just started off an extremely sold-out headlining tour, and she’s also got some big festival gigs and a few other things coming up. (I am jealous of everyone who gets to see Slayyyter and Die Spitz open for Turnstile<\/a> in Lawrence, Kansas in October.) At those headlining shows, Slayyyer is performing new songs.<\/p>\n On Sunday night, Slayyyter played the first set of her tour behind WOR$T GIRL IN AMERICA<\/em>, kicking off a three-night stand at the Pageant in her St. Louis hometown. According to Setlist.fm<\/a>, Slayyyter’s show included the live debuts of four different songs. One of them is called “BRAND NEW CHANEL$.” On Instagram, Slayyyyter posted a high-quality video of that performance and announced that the song is coming out on Friday. (She already followed the release of WOR$T GIRL IN AMERICA<\/em> by dropping the extra track “BROKE BITCH FREE$TYLE<\/a>.” <\/p>\n “BRAND NEW CHANEL$” and “CRANK 2,” one of the other new tracks that Slayyyter performed, are obviously mutations of tracks from WOR$T GIRL IN AMERICA<\/em>. Of the new songs, though, only “CRANK 2” is an all-out rave-pop attack. There’s a lot more bittersweet new wave at work on “NEKROMANTIK,” “I THINK HE’S GOT A GIRL,” and “BRAND NEW CHANEL$.” Below, check out footage of all those new songs, as well as Slayyyter’s setlist.<\/p>\n
