Noelle is the Dawson\u2019s Creek<\/em> star\u2019s middle name.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n The 20-year-old is about to begin her junior year at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Tom Cruise<\/a> and Katie Holmes<\/a>\u2019 daughter Suri is the latest celebrity kid <\/a>to drop their famous last name.<\/p>\n The 20-year-old college student legally changed her surname from Cruise to Noelle, her mother\u2019s middle name, according to voter registration records viewed by Entertainment Weekly.<\/em><\/p>\n Suri, who is about to begin her junior year at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, is registered to vote in the state of Pennsylvania.\u00a0<\/p>\n Suri did not file a name change request in the Keystone State, where she\u2019s lived since 2024, suggesting she may have done so in New York, where she grew up after being born in Los Angeles<\/a>, according to Page Six<\/em><\/a>, which was first to report the news.<\/p>\n Representatives for Cruise and Holmes did not immediately respond to EW\u2019s request for comment on Suri\u2019s reported name change.<\/p>\n Suri Noelle debuted her new moniker two years ago in the ceremony pamphlet<\/a> at her graduation from LaGuardia High School in Manhattan.<\/p>\n While Holmes was photographed celebrating the milestone with her daughter, Cruise reportedly did not attend. The Mission: Impossible<\/em> star has not been publicly seen with Suri since he and Holmes divorced in 2012.<\/p>\n The musical theater major certainly takes after both of her parents.<\/p>\n Suri, who portrayed Morticia Addams in a high school play, has reportedly<\/a> been cast in Midsummer!<\/em>, a modern take on William Shakespeare\u2019s A Midsummer Night\u2019s Dream<\/em> that is a 90-minute stage production put on by Carnegie Mellon students. Two of the former couple\u2019s children, Vivienne\u2019s twin brother Knox and second-eldest son Pax, have yet to make any legal moves to follow suit.<\/p>\n \u201cIf people knew the whole truth, they would have more sympathy for the children and respect them,\u201d a source close to Jolie told PEOPLE<\/a>. \u201cThe fact they aren\u2019t speaking ill or sharing things publicly only shows their decency… Angie hasn\u2019t been fighting and isn\u2019t angry. She just wants everyone to heal.\u201d<\/p>\n
