Mike Tyson’s wife doesn’t want him to take “public planes”.
The 55-year-old boxing legend was caught on camera in an altercation with Melvin George Townsend III on board a JetBlue flight last month after his fellow passenger allegedly threw a bottle at him prior to take off, but after speaking to both parties, the San Mateo County District Attorney’s Office ultimately decided not to file any charges.
Mike acknowledged there is always a possibility of him coming face-to-face with “overly excited” fans on board aircraft, and it happens so often his spouse, Lakiha Spencer, wants him to stick to private jets when he has to travel by air.
He said: “I shouldn’t even be taking public planes. My wife gets mad I take public planes.
‘What am I going to do on a f****** plane with my friends and [a bodyguard] he’s supposed to watch me?
“A bodyguard and a f****** yes man. What am I gonna do on a plane?”
The ‘Hangover’ star admitted incidents like the one on the plane “triggers” him but he knows he should get involved in confrontation.
Asked if it’s a losing situation, he said on his ‘Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson’ podcast: “Yes. Totally, 100 per cent.”
The controversial sportsman accused his fellow passenger of “f******” with him.
He said: “Yes, they said they ain’t gonna pick up charges.
“He was f*****g with me man. I took pictures with this n****.”
It was previously explained no charges had been brought following the incident due to the “circumstances surrounding the confrontation”.
The San Mateo County District Attorney’s Office explained: “These include the conduct of the victim leading up to the incident, the interaction between Mr. Tyson and the victim, as well as the requests of both the victim and Mr. Tyson that no charges be filed in this case.”
Steve Wagstaffe, the case’s District Attorney, told the magazine that after looking at the evidence and the “mixed” reports from the San Francisco Police Department, he was able to see that “the victim was intoxicated and instigated the matter”.
Steve also concluded that the matter was not something for “criminal justice” to deal with and said the victim was almost “Darwinian” and “not too bright” to try to fight with a man once nicknamed ‘The Baddest Man on the Planet’.
He said: “Bottom line, which is most important, is that it’s not a case that belongs in criminal justice. It is quite a Darwinian move to get into the face of a former heavyweight champion of the world. That’s not too bright.”

Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker have got married – again.
The couple – who exchanged vows in a “practice” ceremony in March before making their union official in a Santa Barbara courthouse last weekend – tied the knot in front of family and friends in Portofino, Italy, on Sunday (22.05.22).
Both bride and groom wore Dolce and Gabbana outfits, with the Poosh founder teaming her short white dress with a long embroidered veil.
Kourtney’s children, Mason 12, Penelope, nine, and seven-year-old Reign – who she has with former partner Scott Disick – were in attendance for the ceremony, along with her mother, Kris Jenner, and siblings Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, and Kendall Jenner, as well as the latter’s boyfriend, Devin Booker, and her momager’s partner, Corey Gamble.
On Travis’ side were his son Landon, 18, daughter Alabama, 16, stepdaughter Atiana De La Hoya, 23, and friends including Machine Gun Kelly and his Blink-182 bandmate Mark Hoppus.
According to MailOnline, 43-year-old Kourtney entered the garden for the outdoor ceremony at Castello Brown on the arm of her mother while a woman sang ‘Ave Maria’.
They then exchanged vows as dusk fell, before posing for photos ahead of further celebrations this evening.
It was previously revealed tenor Andrea Boccelli will be performing during the wedding, though it is unclear at what stage of the festivities he will take the mic.
Kourtney and Travis have rented out the entire castle, which was built during Roman times as a military defense, and as well as their four-day Italian celebration, they are also planning another huge reception for their friends back in Los Angeles “in the near future”.
Although the loved-up pair were thought to have first tied the knot during a ceremony at the One Love Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas in March, the wedding wasn’t legally binding because they did not obtain a marriage license.
This is the third marriage for 46-year-old Travis, who was briefly married to first wife Melissa Kennedy between 2001 and 2002, before he went on to tie the knot with the mother of his children, Shanna Moakler.
Kourtney has never wed until now.

Rihanna is reportedly planning to raise her baby boy in Barbados.
The 34-year-old star recently gave birth to her first child with ASAP Rocky, and she’s now planning to raise her baby in her home country.
A source told the Sunday Mirror newspaper: “Rihanna loves Barbados and she loved growing up there.
“She wants to give her baby the same experience she had – away from the world of showbusiness. Both her and ASAP’s family are in Barbados, so the couple are planning to move there in a few months’ time.”
The ‘Work’ hitmaker is planning to stay in Los Angeles for three months, before moving to the Caribbean with ASAP and their baby boy.
Rihanna and ASAP made their relationship official in November 2020, and the loved-up couple are now hoping to tie the knot in Barbados.
Earlier this year, meanwhile, an insider insisted Rihanna wants to marry ASAP one day.
The Bajan beauty is said to be “smitten” with her boyfriend and she can’t wait to tie the knot.
The source said: “Rihanna is totally smitten with ASAP. They have a very close bond and Rihanna has always been quite traditional.
“They will be married, for sure. She has told pals she wants to be with him forever, and he has said the same.”
Despite this, the celebrity duo never thought of getting married before the arrival of their baby.
The insider said at the time: “There are no plans yet as to when the nuptials will be but it won’t be before the baby is born. She has always wanted to get married and ASAP is her forever person.

Lil Kim thinks The Notorious B.I.G. remains the “king” of rap music.
The Brooklyn-born star was killed in a drive-by shooting in Los Angeles in March 1997, aged 24 – but Kim is convinced he would’ve still been a “funny, fun, handsome” man at the age of 50.
Kim – who was a good friend of the rap legend – explained: “It’s always important to honor the king. He’s the king. The king lives on.
“He’s just an amazing person, amazing artist … his legacy. It’s just great. Like, I mean, look at the catalog. Look at everything that he’s accomplished, even at such a young age.”
Biggie would’ve celebrated his 50th birthday on Saturday (05.21.22), and CJ Wallace – his son – is thrilled that his dad’s “legacy” continues to live on.
He told People: “You know how deep the legacy lives on and you know how important it is to the family at the end of the day. He has more than just his bloodline, he has a real distinct family of people that go beyond the grave.”
The rap icon only released two albums before his death, and CJ is amazed by what his dad managed to achieve in such a short period of time.
The 25-year-old actor – whose mom is singer Faith Evans – explained: “He was more than just a rapper, more than an artist.
“He was an educator, he was a poet, obviously a writer. He was a prophet. He was here to do more than just make some songs or record a couple of albums, which is at the end of the day, that’s what he did. And he did way more than that in his spare time.”

Pete Davidson is reportedly leaving ‘Saturday Night Live’.
The 28-year-old comedian — who has been dating reality TV superstar Kim Kardashian, 41, since October 2021 following her split from Kanye West — became a regular cast member on the long-running NBC variety show back in 2014 but is now said to be exiting the show alongside Kate McKinnon, Aidy Bryant and Kyle Mooney after the next episode airs on Saturday, according to a report by Variety.
Representatives for ‘Saturday Night Live’ and NBC reportedly did not respond to the outlet’s request for comments on the potential exit, but back in 2021, Pete explained he was “surprised” to have lasted so long upon the show’s season 46 finale.
He said: “Yeah, I’m good. I’m surprised I made it to seven [seasons]I’m ready to hang up the jersey. Kenan Thompson’s like, f****** Karl Malone out there.”
Pete later went on to fuel speculation that he was quitting the show back then by telling the audience that he was “very grateful” to be on the show and noted that it was “an honour to grow up on it” but returned for the 47th season towards the end of last year just as his high-profile girlfriend made her debut guest-hosting an episode of the staple comedy skit series.
News of the alleged planned exits come just days after ‘Saturday Night Live’ creator and producer Lorne Michaels explained to the New York Times that he could foresee a a “year of change” on the cards for his iconic talk show.
Pete, Kate, Aidy and Kyle are expected to make their final appearances on ‘Saturday Night Live’ during the finale of Season 47 on Saturday May 21, with their last episode being guest hosted by pop star Selena Gomez.

Kim Kardashian has filed an emergency restraining order against an alleged stalker.
The 41-year-old reality superstar – who has children North, eight, Saint, six, Chicago, four and Psalm, three with ex-husband Kanye West – has reportedly taken out the court order after the man allegedly threatened to kill her and her family.
Court documents obtained by TMZ explain: “The person has made several alarming threats, including threatening to kill her family and bomb her business offices.”
The outlet went on to claim that Kim’s legal team stated in the documents that her security team has intercepted over 80 letters containing several “disturbing sexual references ” about her, said to have bene sent to the SKIMS founder by the man – named by TMZ as David Resendiz – and that she has received 30 in the last month alone.
‘The Kardashians’ star is now dating ‘Saturday Night Live’ comedian Pete Davidson, 28, and while it was alleged that the documents do not mention him specifically, The Blast also reported that Kim said the individual had lashed out at those with whom she has “intimate relationships.”
Back in 2021, Kim previously had to deal with a seemingly unrelated incident of stalking when Nicholas Costanza – who sent the star a diamond ring and a morning-after pill, but even though she managed to obtain a five-year restraining order against him, he was eventually charged with felony stalking after breaching the order and attempted to jump the gate and get into the grounds of her San Fernando mansion.

A nude protester stormed the red carpet at Cannes Film Festival.
The 75th annual event is taking place in French Riviera city until 28 May but a naked woman is interrupted proceedings as stars from ‘Three Thousand Years of Longing’ walked down the red carpet, bearing the words ‘Stop.Raping.Us’ painted across her chest and completed the look with blood-red paint in the shape of handprints around her underwear.
The New York Times’ reporter Kyle Buchanan shared an image of the incident on Instagram and wrote: “the woman in front of me stripped off all her clothes (covered in body paint) and fell to her knees screaming in front of photographers..”(sic)
The reporter went on to claim that the unnamed woman was hastily removed from the event and that organisers had stopped him from filming.
He added: “Cannes authorities rushed over, covered her in a coat, blocked my camera from filming!” (sic)
Twitter account SCUM – which describes itself as an organisation “radical feminist activists, universalist blasphemers” – later tweeted that the protest was staged on their behalf to highlight Ukrainian women suffering in the war torn country.
SCUM tweeted: “A SCUM activist enters the red carpet of the #Cannes2022 festival to denounce the sexual violence inflicted on Ukrainian women in the context of the war.”
‘Three Thousand Years of Longing’ is directed by George Miller and stars Tilda Swinton as an academic who is offered three wishes creature of reason – played by ‘Suicide Squad’ star Idris Elba, with the reporter going on to suggest in follow-up tweets that the action on the red carpet quickly resumed following the incident as he described what they were wearing to the prestigious event.

Madonna has been banned from Instagram Live.
The 63-year-old pop icon has become known for sharing risque nude snaps on the social media platform in recent years but was shocked to receive a notification claiming she had “violated community guidelines” when attempting to go live to her 18 million followers.
Speaking in a video depicting the incident posted to her main Instagram page, she said: “Guys we’re gonna go live. What the f***? We’re blocked from Live? Ew, what’s happening?”
The ‘Material Girl’ hitmaker went on to reference her frequent nude photos shared on the app and joked that at that moment she was fully clothed and was left “speechless” when issued with an on-screen warning from the Meta-owned app regarding nudity.
She added: “I’ve never worn so many clothes in my life. I’m speechless!”
Instagram issued a warning to the pop megastar which explained that she must “respect” others on the platform and warned her to always “follow the law”.
It read: “We want Instagram to continue to be an authentic and safe place for inspiration and expression. Help us foster this community. Post only your own photos and videos and always follow the law. Respect everyone on Instagram, don’t spam people or post nudity.”
Back in November 2021, the ‘Papa Don’t Preach’ songstress defiantly reposted images of herself posing suggestively on a bed after Instagram had taken them down “without warning” and was “astounded” that they had been removed because her nipple was on show.
At the time, she wrote: “I’m reposting photographs Instagram took down without warning or notification….. The reason they gave my management that does not handle my account was that a small portion of my nipple was exposed. It is still astounding to me that we live in a culture that allows every inch of a woman’s body to be shown except a nipple!”

Princess Diana’s wedding tiara is set to headline a new exhibition at Sotheby’s in London.
The late princess – who died in August 1997, aged 36 – wore the Spencer Tiara on the day she married Prince Charles in July 1981, and it will form part of the new exhibition of royal and aristocratic jewels.
Power and Image: Royal and Aristocratic Tiaras will run between May 28 and June 15, and it will be free to the public. The spectacular display has been created as part of Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
The exhibition will feature nearly 50 eye-catching items, including the famous Spencer Tiara, which is actually on loan to Sotheby’s from Diana’s brother, Earl Spencer.
The spectacular headpiece was worn most recently in 2018 by Celia McCorquodale, the daughter of Diana and Earl Spencer’s sister, Lady Sarah McCorquodale.
Elsewhere, the exhibition will also include a tiara previously worn by Queen Victoria that features a 15-carat emerald designed by her husband, Prince Albert.
According to Sotheby’s, it is widely seen as “one of the most elegant and sumptuous coloured gemstone tiaras ever created anywhere in the world”.
Meanwhile, Kristian Spofforth, the head of London jewellery at Sotheby’s and curator of the exhibition, recently explained that tiaras remain sought-after items.
He told Vogue: “There’s an incredible demand for tiaras and we’ve seen phenomenal prices in the last few years.
“Even certain unspectacular pieces which are just bog-standard tiaras have doubled in price.”
Kristian also noted that the iconic Spencer Tiara comes with a “tangible sense of its history, power and influence”.
He said: “There are pieces that you hold, and you do get a slight chill. It’s amazing because of its provenance and Diana – there’s a tangible sense of its history, power and influence.”

Alanis Morissette is set to release a meditation album.
The 47-year-old singer’s new record, ‘The Storm Before The Calm’, will guide her fans through 11 different meditations.
Alanis said: “Meditating rests my interior to the point where I can have access to ideas and visions and inspirations – I can hear my own capital-S Self.
“Music, for me, is like a portal in a way, an invitation into a state of being that I’m not normally in. Making the record kept me super connected and accountable during COVID, when I felt like I was just going to disappear and float away.”
‘The Storm Before The Calm’ will be released via various streaming platforms and the mental health app Calm on June 17.
Alanis has previously spoken about her love of meditation, admitting it’s helped her in a huge way over the years.
She said: “When I first started meditating, the first step was to be less afraid to face my anxiety.”
Alanis explained how meditation and writing music have both helped her to cope with various challenges in her life.
The ‘Hand in My Pocket’ hitmaker said: “Whenever something was bubbling up – I didn’t know how to process it because I was too young – I would write a song.”
Alanis also found that meditating helped her to deal with troubles while she was on the road.
She said: “I would be in these environments that were so exciting and so overstimulating but going back to the hotel to meditate. A lot of times, I’d introduce some sort of physical or somatic practice like stretching or yoga – that would help to bring me back to my body.”

Britney Spears has “never been more happy in [her] life”.
The ‘Toxic’ hitmaker recently suffered a miscarriage, but apart from that tragedy, she insisted everything feels much better and “lighter” since her conservatorship was finally terminated last November after 13 years.
Explaining how she wants to stop talking about her “traumatic” conservatorship, she wrote on Instagram: “I feel like I would entertain the people who hurt me … I do believe they would secretly like the embarrassment I would go through bringing it up 100 percent … They will no longer get the best of me and humiliate me…
“I’ve never been more happy in my life … in the past several months since it’s been over besides my miscarriage!!!
“My spirit feels lighter and I genuinely laugh and smile now and my eyes are hungry for more each day.”
The ‘Circus’ singer – who is engaged to Sam Asghari and has Sean Preston, 16, and 15-year-old Jayden with ex-husband Kevin Federline – may not want to talk about her conservatorship, but she is documenting her experiences in her memoir, which she is currently working on.
She wrote: “Nobody should have to go through what I went through … I’ve made a point to capture my experience through a book … I am writing.
“It’s all written on pages that people will hold with their own two hands … and hopefully have a better understanding.”
The 40-year-old star wanted to open up about her experiences to reassure her fans they are not alone.
She said: “Trust me I KNOW if you’re going through something and you feel so distant from everything … it’s hard to confront your mind and say … ‘oh you’re not alone’ … it’s easier said than done, but I need to share through it all … my subconscious knew it was gonna be ok … the spirit within me that told me to keep moving forward was all I had … it’s what I hung onto.(sic)”
Britney ended her lengthy post with a thank you for fans.
She concluded: “Their hearts knew and there’s not a single day that goes by that I’m not aware of that and I’m so grateful to have my fans.”

John Aylward has died aged 75.
The ‘ER’ star – who played Dr. Donald Anspaugh in the NBC medical series from 1996 to 2008 – passed away on Monday (05.16.22), his wife Mary Fields confirmed to his agent Mitchell K. Stubbs.
Mitchell paid tribute to John, who was also known for playing former DNC chairman Barry Goodwin on ‘The West Wing’, describing him as a “dream client”.
He told Deadline: “I was shocked. He was a wonderful actor and a phenomenal human being.
“He was a dream client, a friend and a dream person.”
Mitchell’s talent agency, MKS Talent Agency, also wrote on Twitter: “Received a devastating call from Mary Fields, John Aylward’s wife.
This kind man and wonderful actor has left us.
Very grateful to have known and worked with you, sir.
RIP (sic)”
John was a regular in The Seattle Rep Theater for 15 years.
They tweeted: “We lost a beloved member of our family this week, with the passing of company member John Aylward. An accomplished and widely respected actor, John left an indelible mark on the theater community and on everyone he worked with over his long career. John, we will miss you dearly”
John also featured in US drama series ‘Yellowstone’, playing Father Bob in two episodes, and he starred in an episode of ‘American Horror Story’, and two episodes of ‘Mad Men’ as Geoffrey Atherton.
He also had small parts in the likes of ‘The X-Files’, ‘Ally McBeal’, ‘3rd Rock from the Sun’, ‘Diagnosis Murder’, ‘Nip/Tuck’, and ‘Law Order’.
Gaming enthusiasts may remember the late star as the voice of Dr. Arne Magnusson in 2007 title ‘Half-Life 2: Episode Two’.
On the big screen, John starred in 1998 movie ‘Armageddon’ as Dr. Banks, and he appeared opposite Ben Affleck in 2020 motion picture ‘The Way Back’, among many other film roles.
