American Repertory Ballet presents “The Nutcracker” in Princeton, Red Bank, and New Brunswick. American Repertory Ballet (ARB) invites audiences to celebrate the season with The Nutcracker—a timeless story filled with magic, beauty, and holiday spirit. For over 60 years, this beloved production continues to captivate new audiences while holding a treasured place in the hearts of returning patrons. Performances will take place from Friday, November 28 through Sunday, December 21, 2025 in Princeton, Red Bank, and New Brunswick.
Friday, November 28 – Status Green to Celebrate 20th Anniversary at Stone Pony. (ASBURY PARK, NJ) — There are a handful of local bands in the last 25 years that I thought had a good chance of making it big and that list includes Status Green. The band reunites for a 20th anniversary show at The Stone Pony on Friday, November 28, 2025. The lineup includes Church and State TM and Yawn Mower.

Full Circle Magic: Tara and Austin Jarboe Return to Roxey Ballet’s Nutcracker for the 30th Anniversary Season. (EWING, NJ) — This holiday season, Roxey Ballet celebrates the magic of The Nutcracker—and the real-life love story that blossomed within its cast. As the company marks its 30th Anniversary production, longtime Roxey Ballet family members Tara and Austin Jarboe return to the stage as Mother and Father Stahlbaum, the beloved hosts of the ballet’s opening party scene.
Saturday, November 29 – State Theatre New Jersey presents A Charlie Brown Christmas Live On Stage. (NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) — State Theatre New Jersey presents A Charlie Brown Christmas Live On Stage on Saturday, November 29, 2025 at 2:00pm & 7:00pm. The Broadway-style production complete with all-new immersive sets, lighting, choreography, and colorful costumes, has sold more than 300,000 tickets over the prior holiday seasons.
Saturday, November 29 – Lizzie Rose Music Room presents Bell Bottom Blues – A Tribute to Eric Clapton on Saturday. (TUCKERTON, NJ) — The Lizzie Rose Music Room presents Bell Bottom Blues on Saturday, November 29, 2025. The band was formed in 2007 with the vision of providing an audience with a true Eric Clapton Experience. Doors are at 7:00pm, showtime is 7:30pm.
Sunday, November 30 – MPAC presents Champions of Magic: Holiday Spectacular on Sunday. (MORRISTOWN, NJ) — Mayo Performing Arts Center (MPAC) presents Champions of Magic: Holiday Spectacular on Sunday, November 30, 2025 at 4:00pm. Celebrate the season with a show that features dazzling illusions, breathtaking grand-scale magic, and festive surprises for the whole family.

Friday, November 28 – Annie Haslam and Jim McCarty will present the History of Renaissance. Symphonic Rock Pioneers Annie Haslam and Jim McCarty will present the History of Renaissance on November 21st and 22nd at the Wildey Theatre, Edwardsville, Illinois (St. Louis), on November 28th at the Newton Theatre, NJ, and on November 29th at the Lansdowne Theatre, PA, in Lansdowne, PA.
Friday, November 28 – Broadway Theatre of Pitman presents The Bronx Wanderers. (PITMAN, NJ) — The Bronx Wanderers return to the Broadway Theatre of Pitman November 28-30, 2025 with performances on Friday and Saturday at 8:00pm and Sunday at 2:00pm.
Saturday, November 29 – SOPAC’s Annual Giants of Jazz Honors Paquito D’Rivera in a Milestone Celebration. (SOUTH ORANGE, NJ) — The South Orange Performing Arts Center (SOPAC) proudly announces that the 26th Annual Giants of Jazz concert will honor the extraordinary Paquito D’Rivera—a 16-time Grammy and Latin Grammy Award-winning musician whose brilliance bridges the worlds of jazz and classical music. The celebration takes place Saturday, November 29, 2025 at 7:30pm, and is produced by Grammy Award-winning bassist and long-time Giants of Jazz producer John Lee.
Sunday, November 30 – The 4th Annual New Jersey Cabaret Festival. (MORRISTOWN, NJ) — NiCori Studios & Productions will present the fourth annual New Jersey Cabaret Festival at Chu Family Hall, Morristown Unitarian Fellowship on Sunday, November 30, 2025. Showtime is 4:00pm.

Arden Theatre Company presents “The Mountaintop” by Katori Hall. (PHILADELPHIA, PA) — Arden Theatre Company presents The Mountaintop, written by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Katori Hall, and directed by Barrymore Award-winning director Brett Ashley Robinson. Running October 30 through December 14, 2025 on the Arcadia Stage, the 90-minute reimagining of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s final night, invites audiences into a deeply intimate and human portrait of one of the most iconic leaders of the 20th century.
Quintessence Theatre presents “The Pirates of Penzance”. (PHILADELPHIA, PA) — Quintessence Theatre continues its 16th season with The Pirates of Penzance, the beloved comic opera by W.S. Gilbert and Arthur Sullivan, from November 19, 2025 to January 4, 2026. Directed by Quintessence Artistic Director Alex Burns, the resplendent and hilarious story follows a band of pirates who go to battle with the British bobbies over the hearts of a bevy of beautiful Cornish maidens, with only a Major- General and Queen Victoria to stand in their way.
Cape May Stage presents the World Premiere of “Let’s Catch Santa”. (CAPE MAY, NJ) — Cape May Stage presents the World Premiere of Let’s Catch Santa from November 19 through December 28, 2025. This is a new holiday play by Dan McCormick that combines magic, humor, hope and the Christmas spirit. The production is directed by Roy Steinberg.
SoHo Playhouse presents the U.S. premiere of “What If They Ate The Baby?”. (NEW YORK, NY) — SoHo Playhouse presents the U.S. premiere of What If They Ate The Baby?, written, directed and performed by the playhouse’s artists in residence, Xhloe Rice and Natasha Roland, running Off-Broadway November 19 – December 22, 2025 for 25 performances in a limited 5-week engagement.
The Road Company presents “A Christmas Carol: The Musical”. (WILLIAMSTOWN, NJ) — The Road Company presents A Christmas Carol: The Musical weekends from November 20 through December 6, 2025. The classic tale by Charles Dickens comes alive with music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Lynn Ahrens, and book by Lynn Ahrens and Mike Ockrent.
Kick Off the Holidays With “Seasonal Allergies” at Kelsey Theatre. (WEST WINDSOR, NJ) — Kick off the holidays with a quirky group of friends and family navigating the stresses of the season in the hilarious comedy “Seasonal Allergies,” weekends from November 21-30, 2025 at the Kelsey Theatre on the West Windsor Campus of Mercer County Community College.

Paper Mill Playhouse presents Disney’s “Frozen”. (MILLBURN, NJ) — Paper Mill Playhouse presents Disney’s Frozen from November 26 through Sunday, January 11, 2026. This musical transforms the magic of the beloved animated film to the stage in an enchanting adventure. When sisters Elsa and Anna are torn apart by a mysterious secret power, they each set out on their own journey of courage, self-acceptance, and discovery of love in all its forms.
Music Mountain Theatre presents “A Christmas Carol”. (LAMBERTVILLE, NJ) — Music Mountain Theatre presents A Christmas Carol weekends from November 28 through December 14, 2025. This is a spectacular musical adaptation of Dickens’ most well-known story.
The Theater Project presents “It’s a Wonderful Life: The Radio Play” over Thanksgiving Weekend. (SUMMIT, NJ) — A twenty-plus-year tradition unbroken by theater closures thanks to Zoom technology, It’s a Wonderful Life: The Radio Play, returns to Oakes Center Theater for Thanksgiving weekend, November 29-30, 2025 to ring in the holidays. The Theater Project’s production has grown each year, passing the story’s message of redemption and community from actor to actor and audience to audience, year after year.

Bananas Comedy Club presents Tammy Pescatelli. (RUTHERFORD, NJ) — Bananas Comedy Club presents Tammy Pescatelli with three sets across November 28-29, 2025. Saturday, November 29 – The Newton Theatre presents Big Apple Comedy Club #64. (NEWTON, NJ) — Big Apple Comedy Club #64 takes place at The Newton Theatre on Saturday, November 29, 2025 at 8:00pm. This laugh-packed night features four, hilarious comedians coming to the stage for one epic night. The lineup includes Graham Kay, Ian Lara, Veronica Mosey and Talia Reese.

Friday, November 28 – Ballet Arts and Patisserie Florentine present: The Nutcracker Sweet & Sugar Plum Tea Party Festive Fundraiser Benefiting the Adelphi Orchestra. (SOUTH AMBOY, NJ) — This Thanksgiving, join Middlesex County’s REPLENISH for the third annual Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot and 5K, a family-friendly event that brings the community together to support the fight against food insecurity. The event will take place on Thursday, November 27, 2025 from 8:30am to 10:30am at Raritan Bay Waterfront Park in South Amboy. Participants are invited to run, walk, or jog along the scenic waterfront while helping ensure that Middlesex County residents in need have access to nutritious food.
Sunday, November 30 – NJPAC presents Neil deGrasse Tyson: An Astrophysicist Goes to the Movies Part II. (NEWARK, NJ) — Dr. Neil deGrasse Tyson, the beloved American astrophysicist, planetary scientist, author, and science communicator, is returning to the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) on Sunday, November 30, 2025. This year, he will delve into a scientific analysis of iconic films such as Harry Potter, The Wizard of Oz, Mary Poppins, and 2001: A Space Odyssey. Join him as he examines the scientific inaccuracies and occasional truths portrayed in your favorite movies. The event begin at 3:00pm.
