TV Reporters Write Father’s Day Love Letters to Their Kids

This weekend, the top story is focused entirely on dads.

Day after day, millions of Americans turn on the TV to get the latest news from a variety of trusted anchors and seasoned journalists.

When the cameras stop rolling, however, those same reporters turn off their mics, put away the scripts and focus on the most important job in their life — being the best father they can possibly be to their kids.

In honor of Father’s Day weekend, Us Weekly wanted to celebrate the dads who not only deliver the news day after day from around the world — no matter the time of day or how painful the subject matter —but also serve as hands-on parents to their children, shaping the next generation of news-makers and delivers (potentially) in between breaking news announcements and war-time reporting.
