Kendrick Lamar took his now Grammy Award-winning diss track \u201cNot Like Us,\u201d which famously refers to Drake and his associates as \u201ccertified pedophiles,” to the Super Bowl halftime show stage Sunday night in a performance that featured a series of references to his fellow rapper, including an \u201cA minor\u201d necklace and surprise appearance by Drake\u2019s ex-girlfriend and famous tennis player Serena Williams.<\/p>\n

Feb. 9, 2025<\/span>Lamar performed a segment of the “Not Like Us” diss track during his Super Bowl halftime show, including some of the most scathing lyrics directed at Drake, like \u201cSay, Drake, I hear you like ’em young” and “tryna strike a chord, and it’s probably A minor.\u201d Lamar also wore a diamond necklace featuring the lowercase letter A, which is how the chord “a minor” is represented in sheet music. He did pull back on the line explicitly calling Drake and his associates \u201ccertified pedophiles,\u201d rapping instead “Certified Lover Boy? Certified\u2014” and going silent while a pre-recorded scream sounded instead. The performance also featured a surprise guest, Williams, who danced in the middle of “Not Like Us.\u201d Before singing the diss track, Lamar said, “I want to perform their favorite song, but you know they love to sue\u201d in reference to Drake’s lawsuits<\/a> against Universal Music Group over the track.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
