Apresentando o Kenilworth Ember & Harvest Weekend \u2013 reunindo tr\u00eas eventos exclusivos que celebram comida cozida no fogo, produtos locais e hospitalidade campestre no interior de Sunshine Coast.<\/p>\n

The farming community of Kenilworth will take centre stage in this year\u2019s The Curated Plate<\/a> programa, hospedando um novo programa de tr\u00eas dias Ember & Harvest Weekend<\/em> celebrando a comida, o fogo e os sabores do sert\u00e3o de Sunshine Coast.<\/p>\n

Running from Friday 24 to Sunday 26 July, the Kenilworth Ember & Harvest Weekend will bring together three signature events celebrating fire-cooked food, local produce and country hospitality in the Mary Valley.<\/p>\n

The weekend program includes Smokin\u2019 Boot Scoot<\/em>, Wildfire & Wine,<\/em> e Gather & Graze<\/em>incentivando moradores e visitantes a passar o fim de semana explorando Kenilworth enquanto vivenciam uma s\u00e9rie de eventos gastron\u00f4micos e musicais em toda a cidade. Com acomoda\u00e7\u00f5es para caravanismo, camping e cabines dispon\u00edveis no Kenilworth Showgrounds e na cidade em Kenilworth Country Cabins, os viajantes s\u00e3o incentivados a estacionar no fim de semana para ficarem a uma curta dist\u00e2ncia de todos os tr\u00eas eventos.<\/p>\n

The Curated Plate is a 10-day celebration of food and drink from 24 July – 2 August 2026. Each event experience will showcase our region\u2019s local produce, producers and chefs, and our unique natural assets from the sea to the hinterland.<\/p>\n

Kenilworth, farming and friendliness<\/h2>\n

Sunshine Coast Division 10 Councillor David Law said the new Kenilworth weekend was a natural fit for The Curated Plate.<\/p>\n

\u201cKenilworth has a strong farming heritage and community, and this new Ember & Harvest Weekend is a great way to celebrate both,\u201d Cr Law said.<\/p>\n

\u201cBy bringing together local producers, community groups and visitors across three days, this event highlights the value of our hinterland towns and the important role they play in the Sunshine Coast\u2019s food story.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s also a wonderful opportunity to encourage people to stay, explore our hinterland and experience the hospitality Kenilworth is known for.\u201d<\/p>\n

Culinary Director of The Curated Plate, Chef Peter Kuruvita, said the new weekend concept showcased the charm of the Sunshine Coast hinterland.<\/p>\n

\u201cKenilworth is the perfect place to slow down and enjoy food the way it\u2019s meant to be experienced – outdoors, around a fire and with good company,\u201d said Kuruvita.<\/p>\n

\u201cBy bringing these events together across the weekend, visitors can spend time exploring the Sunshine Coast Hinterland while enjoying some very special food experiences.\u201d<\/p>\n

The weekend begins on Friday 24 July with Smokin\u2019 Boot Scoot<\/em>uma animada festa co-organizada pela C\u00e2mara de Com\u00e9rcio de Kenilworth e pelo Conselho de Artes de Kenilworth no sal\u00e3o comunit\u00e1rio. Liderado pelo Chef Russell do First Class Functions, o evento dar\u00e1 o tom para o fim de semana com m\u00fasica country ao vivo, dan\u00e7a e hospitalidade country cl\u00e1ssica.<\/p>\n

On Saturday 25 July, the spotlight shifts to Wildfire & Wine<\/em> no Kenilworth Showgrounds, onde os convidados se reunir\u00e3o sob as estrelas para uma experi\u00eancia gastron\u00f4mica na fogueira apresentada pelo MasterChef Jamie Fleming, que tamb\u00e9m est\u00e1 criando um coquetel \u00fanico com leite lavado em colabora\u00e7\u00e3o com Kenilworth Dairies. A Tuck Shop Catering Company criar\u00e1 um menu culin\u00e1rio com produtos locais cozidos na fogueira.<\/p>\n

Guests will be seated around a roaring wildfire pit, bringing their own camping chairs for an authentic outdoor setting, while Fleming prepares a three-course campfire feast paired with wines. Local country musicians will provide entertainment as guests enjoy the fire-cooked menu.<\/p>\n

The weekend concludes on Sunday 26 July with Gather & Graze \u2013 Sip & Paint Edition<\/em>organizado pela Kenilworth Dairies, onde os h\u00f3spedes podem desfrutar de um brunch descontra\u00eddo com queijos Kenilworth Dairies e condimentos e carnes locais enquanto desfrutam de uma experi\u00eancia guiada de Sip & Paint.<\/p>\n

Danielle from Kenilworth Dairies said the weekend reflects the strong community spirit of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland.<\/p>\n
