Princess Anne on Friday visited the Grand Palace in Bangkok during her visit to Thailand.<\/p>\n

The Princess Royal and her husband Sir Tim Laurence first paid respects at the Royal Remains of the late Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother in the Dusit Maha Prasat Throne Hall, followed by a visit to Piman Rattaya Throne Hall to pay respects at the Royal Remains of the late Princess Bajrakitiyabha.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Princess Anne and Tim Laurence also visited the Bureau of the Royal Household to sign the official Book of Condolence.<\/p>\n

Thailand’s Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendira Debyavati, the eldest child of Thai King Maha Vajiralongkorn, died at 47, last month after multiple \u200chealth problems and nearly four years in a coma.<\/p>\n

The princess was hospitalised in December 2022 after a sudden loss of consciousness caused by a heart condition while visiting the northeastern province of Nakhon Ratchasima.<\/p>\n

Bajrakitiyabha was flown by helicopter to the capital Bangkok for treatment. Thailand’s Queen Mother passed away at 93 in October 2025.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
