Kate Moss is set to testify in the ongoing defamation case between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard.

The 48-year-old model dated the Hollywood star between 1994 and 1997, and she’s now poised to take to the stand on Wednesday (05.25.22), via video link.

Heard, 36, previously referenced the model during the ongoing court case, when she discussed an alleged altercation between Depp and Whitney Henriquez, Heard’s sister.

She said: “[Whitney’s] back was to the staircase, and Johnny swings at her. I don’t hesitate, I don’t wait – I just, in my head, instantly think of Kate Moss and stairs.”

Heard first made the allegation during her testimony in the UK in 2020.

She said at the time: “I remembered information I had heard [that] he pushed a former girlfriend – I believe it was Kate Moss – down the stairs. I had heard this rumour from two people and it was fresh in my mind.”

But Depp’s legal team were seen pumping their fists when she first mentioned Moss’ name during the ongoing defamation case in Fairfax, Virginia.

The reference gave them the opportunity to call the model as an impeachment witness to disprove the allegation.

And a source close to Depp has now confirmed to People that Moss will appear before the court later this week.

Meanwhile, Moss previously admitted that it took her years to overcome the heartache of her split from Depp.

She shared: “There’s nobody that’s ever really been able to take care of me. Johnny did for a bit. I believed what he said. Like if I said, ‘What do I do?’, he’d tell me. And that’s what I missed when I left. I really lost that gauge of somebody I could trust.”

Courtney Love has apologised for “weaponising snark” and unintentionally “bullying” Amber Heard.

The Hole frontwoman appeared in an Instagram Story post over the weekend showing her support for Johnny Depp amid his court battle with his ex-wife – who he is suing for defamation over an op-ed she wrote in 20118 about being a victim of domestic abuse, while she is countersuing him – but she insisted her comments were never meant to be made public and she is uncomfortable with the fact she may have accidentally encouraged people to target the ‘Aquaman’ star as a result.

She wrote on her own Instagram account: “My side of the street, needs to stay clean;

“I engaged in expressing thoughts online. The platform accidentally posted a story I didn’t want public (I’m sure it was not deliberate) in it I am weaponising snark (what else do we do with snark?)…

“While I recover [from addiction], I borrow the values, moral compasses of those I look up to ( dogs, especially ????) who do the right thing.

“I certainly don’t always do the right thing.

“My goal – emulate the human revolution of my mentor @daisakuikeda????

“I want to show neutral support for a friend. I dont want to bully.

“I’ve been bullied enough. I did not want to express my own bias / internalized mysoginy. (Do give me a break on that one. Look at my JOB! I’m working on it) I want nothing to do with contributing more online bullying to someone enduring being bullied like noone ever has been online. Ever.

“In my program of recovery, ‘when we were wrong, we promptly admitted it’

“I was wrong.(sic)”

Courtney urged people to “show sincere empathy” towards both Johnny and Amber and not to take pleasure in the case.

She added: “The only important takeaway, of what was posted, is that I expressed that we should all stop having ‘fun with schadenfraude’ (look it up: ‘Delight in another’s down fall’) show sincere empathy for both parties.

“If I hurt anyone, please accept my amends.(sic)”

In the original post, the 57-year-old singer recalled how the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ star once saved her life after an overdose and praised the support he’d offered to her daughter Frances in the wake of Kurt Cobain’s suicide.

She said: “I don’t really wanna make judgments publicly. I just want to tell you that Johnny gave me CPR in 1995 when I overdosed outside The Viper Room.

“Johnny, when I was on crack and Frances was having to suffer through that with all these social workers, wrote her a four-page letter that she’s never showed me.

“Then he sent limos to her school where all the social workers were crawling around, again, unasked, for her and all her friends to go to ‘Pirates [of the Caribbean]’.

“He did it a bunch of times. He gave her her own seat [at the premieres] with her name on it.

“I’ve never seen one of those ‘Pirates’ movies, but [Frances] loved them. You know, she said to me when she was 13, ‘Mama, he saved my life.’ And she said it again.”

Bam Margera has broken his wrist for the 10th time in a freak skateboarding accident after taking time out from an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting to try some tricks.

The ‘Jackass ‘ star was attending an AA meeting across the road from a skate park and took his chance to try out some moves during a 30-minute break in the session – but one trick went horribly wrong and left him with broken bones.

Bam told TMZ.com it’s the 10th time he’s smashed that wrist and he won’t be taking any pain medication during his recovery because he doesn’t want to derail his progress in addiction therapy.

The 42-year-old star is a former pro skateboarder and though he has retired from professional competitions, he still enjoys spending time trying out tricks.

He’s spent years battling addiction issues and was admitted to hospital in 2009 after a four-day drinking binge left him seriously ill.

Bam entered rehab that year but left after four days. He later returned to treatment in 2015 but also failed to complete the program.

He later opened up about his addiction and mental health issues, revealing he has been suffering from anxiety, bipolar disorder and bulimia nervosa.

In 2018, he entered rehab for a third time and was back in treatment a year later.

Bam’s troubles continued over the next few years and he was reportedly excluded from his TV stunt team’s 2022 movie ‘Jackass Forever’ due to his issues.

However, he told TMZ this week that he’s been part of a rehab program in Florida for 12 months and is hoping he will be able to kick his addictions for good.

Erin Jayne Plummer has died “suddenly” at the age of 42.

The swimmer-turned-presenter – who was best known for hosting advertorials on ‘Studio 10’ and shopping channel TVSN – passed away over the weekend, her co-hosts Sarah Harris and Angela Bishop revealed on Monday (23.05.22).

Sarah said on ‘Studio 10’: “We’ve got some really sad news to share this morning.

“Over the weekend, Studio 10 lost a bit of its sparkle with our friend and advertorial host Erin Jayne passing away suddenly.

“For two decades, Erin Jayne’s been a friendly and familiar face on Australian telly and for a lot of that, she’s been brightening up our mornings with her bubbly personality and mega-watt smile.”

They went on to share a montage of some of Erin Jayne’s best moments on the breakfast TV show before Sarah continued her tribute.

She said: “Erin was just a gorgeous human inside and out, and if it wasn’t for TV, perhaps Erin may have had a sporting career.

“She represented Australia in synchronised swimming and even surf life saving, and there’s no question that Erin Jayne was a high achiever, and certainly a gold-medal mum to her three young girls.

“We’ll miss your sunshine around the studio, Erin Jayne, and all of us here are sending lots of love and strength to her family. You’ll be very missed.”

The former ‘Aerobics Oz Style’ host – who won 11 national synchronised swimming titles and represented her country at three world championships – is survived by her husband and three children.

A cause of death has not yet been made public.

Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker partied until 3 a.m. at a wild wedding reception after they exchanged vows in a lavish ceremony in Italy on Sunday.

The couple said “I do” for a third time at a glitzy wedding at Villa Olivetta in the coastal town of Portofino – a home owned by fashion duo Dolce and Gabbana, who also designed the bride and groom’s outfits.

After the ceremony, the newly-weds and their guests retreated to a castle overlooking the sea called Castello Brown where they partied until the early hours of the morning.

Kourtney, 43, changed out of her corset-style mini-dress for the reception, hitting the dance floor in a short black number with a matching dark-coloured veil.

The couple also wore matching white Mr and Mrs leather jackets to mingle with their guests at the glitzy party.

The reception kicked off with a performance by opera star Andrea Bocelli who sang ‘I Found My Love in Portofino’ and reports suggest the entertainment also included variety of cabaret acts.

During the bash, the newly-weds put on a saucy display as Travis got down on his knees to tear Kourtney’s garter from her leg using his teeth.

They later shared their first dance to ‘At Last’ by Etta James.

Travis’ 18-year-old son Landon was among those who gave speeches toasting the couple, while People.com reports the party later kicked off with a set by DJ Cassidy.

Machine Gun Kelly attended the bash with his fiancee Megan Fox and he is also said to have helped entertain the guests by giving an impromptu performance of his track ‘Bloody Valentine’.

Kourtney and Travis first exchanged vows in a late-night ceremony in Las Vegas on April 4 but it was said to have been a practice run ahead of their real wedding.

They officially tied the knot at a courthouse in California on May 15 before heading to Italy for their starry ceremony in front of friends and family.

A source previously said: “They had to legally get married first ahead of their big Italian wedding.”

Jennifer Lawrence has been interviewed by Ellen DeGeneres while sitting on the toilet in a TV stunt to fulfil the actress’ childhood dream.

The Hollywood actress has said that before she shot to fame, she used to while away time in the bathroom answering questions in an imaginary chat with the famous talk show host, and Ellen decided to make her dream come true.

During one of her final episodes of ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’, Ellen called up new mum Jennifer and asked her about her bathroom day dreams, saying: “The show is winding down and I’ve had a lot of awfully sweet messages from people.

“One of whom was Jennifer Lawrence, not to brag but we’re neighbours, and she told me how sad she was the show is ending and that when she was a kid living in Kentucky, she used to sit on the toilet and pretend that I was interviewing her.”

“So I thought I can’t end the show without doing that so I’m going to call her, she’s on her toilet right now and I’m going to call and interview her.”

Jennifer then answered the phone and told Ellen about how she used to imagine being a celebrity and answer questions from the host.

She admitted she also took part in fantasy interviews with other TV hosts including Oprah Winfrey and David Letterman, but a lot of the time it was the ‘Finding Dory’ star.

She said: “Years spent on the toilet … I was really into your show, so pretty much every time it was a number two it was you … I’m honoured – look at me now! …

“I really manifested hard on there, you know maybe that’s the lesson … take your time. Don’t rush it … I got so much done there …

“Your show started when I was like 13 so I’d say (I did it from) like 13 to 17. My formative years on the toilet … “

During the chat it was also revealed that Jennifer lives in Ellen’s former home in California and the TV host now lives next door.

The interview concluded with Ellen asking Jennifer questions just like a real interview, and it concluded with the actress telling the presenter: “See you tonight!”

Johnny Depp is expected to return to the witness stand for a second time.

The Hollywood actor has sued his ex-wife Amber Heard for defamation over a 2018 op-ed in which she recalled being a victim of domestic abuse, and the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ star star took the stand to testify two weeks ago, but he is set to return to be quizzed under oath once again.

A source close to his legal team told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “(Depp) will almost certainly take the stand first thing next week.”

The report suggests Johnny will be called by the defence as a witness for Amber’s team, and will be the third person to take the stand when court resumes on Monday, after an anatomy expert and an intimate partner violence expert.

Johnny filed a $50 million defamation lawsuit against Amber, while the ‘Aquaman’ star countersued for $100 million because she didn’t mention him by name, and their explosive court case has been taking place in Virginia over the last few weeks.

The trial began April 11 and is now entering its final week.

Amber alleged during her testimony that she was beaten and threatened by her husband and accused him of abusing drugs and alcohol during their volatile marriage.

The ‘Black Mass’ actor has denied his ex-wife’s allegations of abusive behaviour and recently declared in court he has lost “nothing less than everything” as a result of the claims.

Asked what he has lost following the publication of Amber’s essay, he said: “Nothing less than everything. “When the allegations were made [and] rapidly circling the globe, telling people I was a drunken cocaine-fuelled menace who beat women – suddenly in my 50s – it’s over. You’re done. “So what did it do to me? What effect did it have on me? I put it to you this way, no matter the outcome of this trial, the second the allegations were made against me, the accusations, the second that more and more metastasised and turned into fodder for the media, once that happened, I lost then.”

Kurt Cobain’s “favourite” guitar has been sold for $4.5 million.

The music legend – who was lead vocalist and primary songwriter of the rock band Nirvana but took his own life back in 1994 at the age of 27 – famously used the blue 1969 Fender Mustang electric guitar in the video for his band’s hit ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit’ back in 1991 and it was sold for a $4,550,000 at Julien’s Auctions in New York on Sunday, to the Jim Irsay Collection.

In a statement, Jim – who is in charge of the the Indiana-based pop culture collection – told Rolling Stone: “I am thrilled to preserve and protect another piece of American culture that changed the way we looked at world. The fact that a portion of the proceeds will go toward our effort to kick the stigma surrounding mental health makes this acquisition even more special to me.”

The iconic guitar – which is described as being Lake Placid Blue in colour and was the tragic rocker’s “favourite” instrument – was initially owned by the Cobain family and was displayed as part Jim Irsay’s extensive collection of rock memorabilia before the collector was able to take full ownership of by purchasing it at the auction.

The Cobain family will reportedly donate a portion of the sale to the NFL team’s Kicking The Stigma mental health awareness campaign and according to the auction website, the guitar still “sounds great” over 30 years after it was first used.

A description reads: “Guitar sounds and plays great. There are wiring issues however with the slide switches in particular. Only the bridge pickup functions. In good condition. The neck is lovely and the early CBS finish is still intact, feeling old and new at once. While it has some scars from wild shows and being bashed, the front of the guitar looks good with a couple of small marks and only the lower ribs showing real damage. Some finish worn off back of body from play. Case in good condition with some tears.”

Back in 1991, Kurt said: “But out of all the guitars in the whole world, the Fender Mustang is my favourite. I’ve only owned two of them.”

Pete Davidson has left Saturday Night Live.

The 28-year-old comedian – who ha been dating reality TV superstar Kim Kardashian since October 2021 following her split from Kanye West – has been part of the sketch comedy show since 2014 but stepped down on Saturday and paid tribute to his time on the program with a “super emotional” Instagram post.

Sharing a throwback video, he wrote: “This video was taken 8 years ago. Jerrod sent it to me last night and it made me super emotional in the best way. In the video I had just gotten back from doing my very first update and sketch. It’s crazy to think that today I’ll be doing my last one. When I got the show I was 20 years old and I had no idea what I was doing. I still don’t, but especially back then. “

Pete – who has previously dated the likes of pop star Ariana Grande and Hollywood actress Kate Beckinsale – went on to explain that he “knew” he wasn’t really suited to sketch comedy but kept up with his co-stars by playing up to his skills as a stand up comedian.

He wrote on Instagram: “I wasn’t really a sketch performer I was just a stand up. I knew I could never keep up or go toe to toe with a Kenan Thompson or a Kate McKinnon so I was super scared at figuring out what I could possibly bring to or do for such a historic, respected show and platform. I figured since I’m a stand up I’ll just try my stand up and personal bits on Weekend Update as myself and I’m so glad I did. I got to share so much with this audience and literally grow up in front of your eyes. We were together through the good and the bad, the happiest and the darkest of times.

Tom Cruise says landing the role of Navy pilot Pete ‘Maverick’ Mitchell in ‘Top Gun’ was “life-changing.”

The 59-year-old Hollywood star had always dreamt of being either a pilot or an actor growing up, and when he could combine both careers in one film, it was a big thrill for him.

He told HELLO! magazine: “All I ever wanted to be was a pilot or an actor, so ‘Top Gun’ was a huge moment in so many respects, including my passion for aviation.

“It was life-changing for me.

“I got to actually fly in an F-14 jet which was a dream come true, and play a character I loved in Maverick.”

For the latest movie in the blockbuster series, ‘Top Gun: Maverick’, Tom got to do more plane stunts than ever before.

He said: “The P-51 Mustang you see in the movie is actually my plane, so I got to pilot in those sequences.

“I also got to be in the jet fighter a lot more this time, which was thrilling.

“It was something I had been working up to.”

The sequel to the 1986 action-drama comes with an epic soundtrack by Oscar winner Lady Gaga in ‘Hold My Hand’.

On how the pop megastar came to record the song, Tom said: “I had seen one of Lady Gaga’s shows in Las Vegas and been amazed, so I called her to ask if she could help us.

“She sent the song over and it was perfect.

“It really is the heartbeat of the score.”

Doja Cat has pulled out of The Weeknd’s summer stadium tour.

The 26-year-old star was due to support The Weeknd on his ‘After Hours Til Dawn’ global stadium tour, which kicks off in July, but she has been forced to step down due to tonsil surgery.

She wrote on Instagram: “Hi guys. I wanted you to hear it from me first. Unfortunately I have to have surgery on my tonsils ASAP. The surgery is routine but the recovery is going to take awhile due to swelling. That means I have to cancel my festival run this summer as well as The Weeknd tour. I feel horrible about this but can’t wait for this to heal and get back to making music and create an experience for y’all.”

Doja has also pulled out of her scheduled appearances at Hangout Festival in Alabama this weekend, and Glastonbury Festival in the UK next month.

Hinting at her medical issues earlier on Twitter, she wrote: “Dr. just had to cut into my left tonsil. I had an abscess in it. My whole throat is f***** so i might have some bad news for yall coming soon. I was taking f***** antibiotics but forgot that i was taking them and then i drank wine and was vaping all day long and then i started getting a nasty growth on my tonsil so they had to do surgery on it today.”
