Thalia is a forbidden demigod, the daughter of Zeus, and her existence goes against a pact made by the most powerful gods. In the past, Thalia sacrificed herself to save Annabeth and Luke, leading Zeus to transform her into the pine tree atop Camp Half-Blood’s hill which acts as a magical barrier to protect the valley.
