Supernatural, which featured one of the most iconic sibling duos, took quite a few shots at making a spinoff. The Supernatural Season 9 episode Bloodlines was originally supposed to kickstart an entire spinoff, but the project was ultimately canceled.
The episode Bloodlines saw Jared Padalecki’s Sam Winchester and Jensen Ackles’ Dean Winchester join forces with Lucien Laviscount’s cop Ennis Ross to confront mafia-style monster clans lurking in Chicago’s underworld. The monsters eventually end up killing each other, and the episode is all kinds of fun. So it is a shame that the series never got the spinoff the episode was originally intended to launch.
