In recent years, one of the most talked-about topics in the world of music, movies, and entertainment has been how difficult it is to become famous without already having connections in the industry. That’s where the term nepo babies comes in. What are nepo babies? The term refers to celebrities who come from famous families: actors, directors, producers, musicians, or anyone influential in the entertainment industry. Basically, they are people who were born into families that already had connections, fame, or power in Hollywood or the music business.
For years, many of these so-called nepo babies denied how important their famous families were in helping them become stars, often saying they built their careers completely on their own and that they are more than just their last name.
