Two people were arrested in connection with the homicide of an adult entertainment venue manager in Santa Rosa, police said Saturday.
The police department said they arrested 43-year-old Richard Lund and 25-year-old Asia Morton, both residents of Dublin, in connection with the homicide of Mark Calcagni in the 2200 block of Brookwood Avenue in Santa Rosa.
According to authorities, Lund and Morton were previously employed at an adult entertainment venue in San Francisco, where Calcagni was the manager. It is believed Lund fatally shot Calcagni after waiting for him to return home from work in the early morning hours of Oct. 3, according to officials.
Police add Morton, who was in a romantic relationship with Lund, is believed to have helped him plan the attack.
On Friday, the police department report Lund was taken into custody at an apartment complex where he and Morton lived, which was located in Dublin. Morton was apprehended a short time later at the San Francisco International Airport after arriving on plane from an international travel, according to authorities.
