Free Summer Events in Downtown San Antonio

With nearly 300 Miami Music Week events, it can be hard to choose which parties to spend money on. They range from pool parties and day events to label showcases and after-hours raves. Parties can take place at venues like Club Space, LIV, and E11even, but they also take place in undescribed warehouses and outdoor venues.

One way to save money during Miami Music Week is to purchase an all-access pass when available. Some venues and event promoters offer passes to all their parties for a lower price than buying tickets individually. If there is a venue where you think you will want to spend most of your time partying, it can be a good deal to snag a pass.

You’ll still have a lot of choices and planning to do, regardless. Luckily, New Times is here to highlight the Miami Music Week parties you won’t want to miss. Check out the picks below, and stay tuned for more parties as they are announced.

DJ Mag Presents the Martinez Brothers at the Sagamore

DJ Mag once again returns with a plethora of pool parties at the Sagamore Hotel. Aside from the brothers, the lineup includes Marte, Mason Collective, HoneyLuv, and Sosa going back-to-back with Max Dean. Expect this to be the best way to start Miami Music Week. 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 26, at the Sagamore Hotel, 1671 Collins Ave., Miami Beach; sagamorepoolparty.com. Tickets cost $150 to $400 via eventbrite.com. Osvaldo Espino

Italian techno duo 999999999 takes over the Warehouse at Factory Town for a good ol’ fashion rave. Expect sets from Carv, Johannes Schuster, Rian Wood, Sister System, and Supergloss. Cloonee Presents Hellbent at Factory Town

Starting at Floyd in 2023, graduating to The Terrace in 2024, and taking over the Infinity Room at Factory Town, Cloonee and his Hellbent party have evolved to become one of Miami Music Week’s signature events. Cloonee regularly delivers Latin and rap-influenced tech and minimal house to adoring partygoers. Along with Cloonee, expect sets by Loco Dice, Caleb Calloway, and rising duo Prospa. He also has a special guest slated to appear. (My money is on Chris Lake.) 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 26, at Factory Town, 4800 NW 37th Ave., Miami; factorytown.com. Tickets cost $40 to $100 via dice.fm. Osvaldo Espino

Experts Only at Toejam Backlot

On Wednesday of Miami Music Week, John Summits label and event brand Experts Only takes over Toejam Backlot in Wynwood with a tech-house showcase to warm partygoers up. The lineup includes a who’s who of Experts Only stalwarts, including Layton Giordani, Max Styler, Westend, and Ayybo, as well as Cole Knight and Roddy Lima. There is a secret special guest, which shouldn’t be very hard to figure out who it will be. (Yes, it’s who you are thinking.) Tickets are very close to selling out, so grab ’em while you still can. 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 26, at Toejam Backlot, 150 NW 21st St., Miami; thirdeyehospitalityco.com. Tickets cost $140 via posh.vip. Jose D. Duran

Hugel will go back-to-back with Diplo during Breakaway Beach at Hyde Beach on March 27.

Breakaway Beach With Diplo and Hugel at Hyde Beach

Introduced last year, Breakaway Break was a big enough success to warrant another party this year. This time, it’s Diplo and Hugel, the most appropriate duo for a pool party in Miami Beach. Known for their Caribbean-influenced house sounds, the guys have recently collaborated on the banger “Forever.” Expect this exclusive back-to-back to be one of the coolest exclusive sets during Miami Music Week. Noon Thursday, March 27, at Hyde Beach, 1701 Collins Ave., Miami; slsmusicweek.com. Tickets cost $119 to $199 via universe.com. Osvaldo Espino

Party with Tape B at Wynwood Marketplace on March 27.

Tape B Block Party at Wynwood Marketplace

Bass music is back and better than ever, in part thanks to Tape B, who has been making waves over the past year. Now, the South Florida native is having his first-ever Miami Music Week block party at Wynwood Marketplace, bringing Cyclops, Phrva, and Rick Remedy with him for the ride. This promises to be a head-banging good time for anyone who loves the new wave of hip-hop-influenced dubstep and bass music. 3 p.m. Thursday, March 27, at Wynwood Marketplace, 2250 NW Second Ave., Miami; wynwood-marketplace.com. Tickets cost $55 via tixr.com. Osvaldo Espino

Sara Landry will present her Hekate label showcase at Factory Town on March 27.

Sara Landry Presents Hekate at Factory Town

Is there a hotter name in hard techno right now than Sara Landry? Nope. Ever since she broke into the scene a few short years ago, Landry has captivated audiences all over the world with her dark, spooky, and sexy hard techno mixes that give BPM addicts their fix. On Thursday, she’s bringing along her Hekate label mates to help turn up at the Park stage at Factory Town. If you were lucky enough to witness Landry’s set at III Points last year, then you know how fun and chaotic this show will be. 7 p.m. Thursday, March 27, at Factory Town, 4800 NW 37th Ave., Miami; factorytown.com. Tickets cost $80 to $120 via dice.fm. Osvaldo Espino

Hard Selects at the Ground

Los Angeles-based Hard brings its underground offshoot, Hard Selects, to the Ground on Thursday. Headlining the showcase is German-Iraqi producer Boys Noize, who is a Miami Music Week veteran at this point. If you are craving “indie sleaze,” expect Alexander Ridha to deliver. Also on the bill are Venezuelan-born, Miami-based producer Marte, Portuguese producer Á˜tta, and Masisi founder Pressure Point. 11 p.m. Thursday, March 27, at the Ground, 34 NE 11th St., #2, Miami; thegroundmiami.com. Launched in 2014 by Tokimonsta, Young Art Records will celebrate its ten-year milestone at ZeyZey on Thursday during Miami Music Week. Shima, Rozet, Keys N Krates, MPH, and Cakes da Killa are on the bill, but most people will be excited by the back-to-back set by Jacques Greene and Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs. Producer and activist LP Giobbi brings her Yes Yes Yes label showcase to Paraiso Estereo. DJ Minx, Mascolo, Le Chev, and Kozlow will join her. Miami Ave., Miami; instagram.com/paraisoestereo. Tickets cost $45.40 to $113.50 via shotgun.live. Jose D. Duran

Major Lazer’s Diplo, Walshy Fire, and Ape Drums

Major Lazer Block Party at Coyo Taco

Diplo, Washly Fire, and Ape Drums haven’t released any new music under the Major Lazer moniker in a hot minute, but that’s not stopping them from hosting a Wynwood block party on Friday. So far, Walshy Fire is the only one confirmed to perform, but what are the chances his collaborators aren’t the unannounced “special guests”? Either way, get ready to whine it up when “Pon de Floor” pours out of the speakers. 6 p.m. Friday, March 28, at Coyo Taco, 2320 NW Second Ave., Miami; 305-573-8228; coyo-taco.com. Admission is free with RSVP; VIP tickets cost $70 via eventbrite.com. Jose D. Duran

Dutch producer Diøn is making his U.S. debut during Miami Music Week.

Miami Music Week 12-Hour Rave

This year, He.She.They partnered with Miami’s techno champion, Domicile, for a 12-hour techno wave. While the Miami venue is still working on reopening a permanent basecamp, it will still bring together a who’s who of techno at a secret warehouse location, including headliners Krl Mx, Pisapia, Triptykh, and DiÁ¸n, who is making his U.S. debut. Also helping keep the party going are Low Earth Orbit, Madison Kay, and Naomi Luna. 8 p.m. Friday, March 28, at a secret location, Miami; heshethey.me. Tickets cost $30.31 to $36.37 via dice.fm. Jose D. Duran

Brownies & Lemonade Miami at Mana Wynwood

Bassheads, we haven’t forgotten about you. Once again, Brownies & Lemonade brings its loud, booming party to Miami with an all-star selection of producers, including Slander, Nghtmre going B2B with Peekaboo, and 4B B2B with Flosstradamus. The real attraction will probably be two surprise DJs. Current speculation is that it may be bass trap star ISOXO and Chase & Status. You’ll have to show up to find out. 9 p.m. Friday, March 28, at Mana Wynwood, 318 NW 23rd St., Miami; blnkcnvs.com. Tickets cost $60 to $75 via tixr.com. Osvaldo Espino

For all the bassheads, Sunshine State of Bass takes over Mid Market in Little River for two days of breaks and electro. It’s a stacked lineup featuring Yo Speed, Guau, UFO Project, Brothers of Funk, Keith Mackenzie, and Analog Hustlers. That’s only the tip of the iceberg – there are so many acts performing you could argue this is a mini-music festival in itself. 8 p.m. Friday, March 28, and Saturday, March 29, at Mids Market, 7200 NW Second Ave., Miami; midsmarket.com. Tickets cost $40 to $65 via utix.online. Jose D. Duran

Blond:ish headlines at Wynwood Studios on March 28.

Blond:ish at Wynwood Studios

Fans of Canadian DJ Blond:ish and her energetic house sets are in luck because, for one night only, she’s set to appear at Wynwood Studios on Friday. Coming off the heels of her debut album, Never Walk Alone, and the announcement of her upcoming Ibiza residency, it’s surprising that she was able to make time for an MMW appearance. Expect the vibes to be high, and get there early enough to experience Calussa and Nicola Bernardini’s sets as well. 10 p.m. Friday, March 28, Wynwood Studios, 567 NW 27th St., Miami; hurryupslowly.io. Tickets cost $72.74 to $145.48 via dice.fm. Osvaldo Espino

A-Trak & Friends at ZeyZey

A-Trak and Fool’s Gold return to Miami on Saturday, with A-Trak doing a special back-to-back with fellow house music veteran Dennis Ferrer. He’s also bringing DJ Holographic, Coco & Breezy, and Kiinjo to the party. While many parties are happening at venues downtown, Wynwood, and South Beach, this seems like a more intimate, chill vibe outside the hectic pace that usually takes over the week. 9 p.m. Saturday, March 29, at ZeyZey, 353 NE 61st St., Miami; zeyzeymiami.com. Tickets cost $30 to $66; admission is free before 10:30 p.m. via shotgun.live. Osvaldo Espino

Party collective Hyper Miami is hosting a secret warehouse rave on Saturday, focusing on the hyperpop genre. The evening’s headliner is James Mapley-Brittle, better known as Grrl. His sound has caught the attention of producers like AG Cook, Anamanguchi, Porter Robinson, and Skrillex. Also on the bill are local acts like the Andes Connection, Foreseer, 1-800-Lolita, and Xana, with live visuals by Devoid Caliber and Violet Forest. 10 p.m. Saturday, March 29, at a secret location in Miami; instagram.com/hyper.miami. Tickets cost $45 to $57 via shotgun.live. Jose D. Duran

The lineup includes AK Renny, KLO, Jon Casey, Nostalgix, and Truth x Lies. There’s also a surprise back-to-back set and more secret special guests. Expect this to be a haven for bassheads. 10 p.m. Saturday, March 29, at Mana 320, 320 NW 23rd St., Miami; blnkcnvs.com. Tickets cost $35 to $45 via tixr.com. Jose D. Duran

Tickets cost $34.30 to $45.70 via ra.co. Jose D. Duran

Oguz takes over the Ground on March 30.

Oguz’s 808 Studios at the Ground

Dutch techno producer Oguz takes over the Ground on Sunday. Last year, he released his debut album, Enter My Simulation, filled with hard dance tracks destined for the dance floor. For the showcase at the Ground, he’s bringing along a cavalcade of techno stalwarts, including Nikolina, Neek, Cilla, and Mila Gama. It will be a downright aggressive way to end the week, but you aren’t going to hear anyone complaining. 11 p.m. Sunday, March 30, at the Ground, 34 NE 11th St., Miami; thegroundmiami.com. Tickets cost $20 via dice.fm. Jose D. Duran
