The United States turns 250 this Independence Day, and Greater Cincinnati is ready to celebrate.

Independence Day, which falls on a Saturday this year, marks the country’s 250th birthday. Along with fireworks, grilling and other red-white-and-blue traditions, events marking the nation’s 250th anniversary take place across Greater Cincinnati and beyond.

Here’s a roundup of Fourth of July festivals, concerts and fireworks displays across the region this year.
