Spooky season is coming to an end as the calendar turns to November. While the majority of horror is behind us (unless you’re counting down the days to the seemingly terrifying Osgood Perkins movie, Keeper), there are still a lot of exciting releases coming up as we get closer and closer to Thanksgiving and into the holiday season.
There are a lot of intriguing movies hitting theaters — and streaming! — this month, including the latest Knives Out movie hitting Netflix, a new entry into the Predator series, the much anticipated sequel to Wicked and more. Here are some of the movies we are most excited for this upcoming month. Whatever your interests, there’s likely something for you!
Predator: Badlands (November 7)
The Alien and Predator universes are back, but this time it’s a Weyland-Yutani synthetic (Elle Fanning) — or at least half of one — that teams up with a predator on a mission to prove himself to his clan. But they might be the ones being hunted, not doing the hunting.
Frankenstein (November 7)
Oscar Isaac as Frankenstein and Jacob Elordi as the monster in a movie directed by Guillermo del Toro. What else could you ask for?
The Running Man (November 14)
Glen Powell shows he’s a true action star in this fast-paced adaptation of Stephen King’s story. Edgar Wright (Shaun of the Dead) directs with Lee Pace, Josh Brolin and Colman Domingo also starring.
Wicked: For Good (November 21)
The second part of the musical-turned-movie hits theaters in late November. With Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande leading the way, it’s certain to be must-see.
Eternity (November 28)
If you can only choose one person to spend the rest of your afterlife with, what do you do? Elizabeth Olsen must pick between the two loves in her life, played by Callum Turner and Miles Teller.
