Attention Rolling Stones fans: Keith Richards‘ son has dropped not one, but two major bombshells about the legendary rockers: they’re recording their new album — and they’re set to tour it.
When speaking to Record Collector Magazine in an interview conducted in May, Marion Richards — Keith’s son, who is an actor and film producer in his own right – got real with the outlet, exposing the band’s current and future plans.
“They’re in town right now, recording,” Marion shared in the interview, per NME — noting he “guess[es]” they’re working on “an album” as “they have enough left over from the last one.” The record Marion is referring to, of course, is Hackney Diamonds, the band’s 2023 LP that scored them Best Rock Album at the Grammys.
“They gave them a Grammy, so now they’re all hyped up on that: ‘Oh, yeah — we can do another one like that! We’ve got more like that if you want…’. I think they’re doing the
follow-up.”

Despite the rockers’ advanced ages (Mick Jagger is 82, Keith is 81, and Ronnie Wood is 78) the band’s rockstar lifestyle has never let up. “They’re in Chiswick [West London] or somewhere like that; I think they’re nearly done,” Marion said of the group’s recording sessions. “They still maintain these ridiculous hours: after lunch until, like, two in the morning.”
As for what comes next … well, per Marion, it looks like fans can expect a tour.
“I think they’re planning a tour of Europe,” the prodigal son told the magazine.
The Rolling Stones may not be able to get any satisfaction … but it looks like their fans will.
