With St. Patrick’s Day just around the corner, it’s time to shamrock ‘n’ roll in Music City.
Nashville and surrounding areas will be celebrating the Irish holiday, which lands on March 17, with live music, booze and plenty of spirit.

March 14: The Caverns Celtic Celebration
Grundy County’s The Caverns, an underground concert venue in a cave, will be throwing a St. Paddy’s day bash on March 14.
The venue will host a Celtic celebration featuring Ireland’s Boxing Banjo with Tommy and Sandy O’Sullivan and friends. And, of course, there will be plenty of Irish beer.

March 14: Irish Network Nashville Parade
Irish Network Nashville will host the fourth annual official Nashville St. Patrick’s Day Parade on March 14.
The festival will take place in Five Points, starting at 10 a.m. CT with the parade and followed by a day of live music, food trucks and artisans until 5 p.m.

March 14: East Nash Stache Bash Block Party
Nashville’s largest and longest-running St. Patrick’s Day party is back: The East Nash Stache Bash Block Party.
Returning for its 16th year, the festival will take place in the center of the Five Points neighborhood from noon to 11 p.m. CT.
The 21+ festival, which is produced in partnership with Rosemary & Beauty Queen, will feature multiple artists across three stages as well as 15 bars with numerous drinks specials.
The event will take place at Rosemary & Beauty Queen, the adjacent parking lot, and the block starting from the corner of 11th Street and Forest Avenue.
Acts include Whiskey Disco feat: Coach and Dennis James, Riot Ranch w/ Hish, Houndstooth and Rod Youree, The Spazmatics, Thunderchunk, WTTN, Maggie Miles, Kid Pastel, A Tribe of Horsman, Video Vixen, Young Robot and Indie Sleaze Party.

March 14: Von Patrick’s Day at Von Elrod’s
The Germantown bar Von Elrod’s Beer Hall & Kitchen will host their annual Von Patrick’s Day party.
The event will run from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. with stein hoisting and drink specials, plus live music from DJ Guy Fell and Roobiks Groove.

March 14: St. Patrick’s Day at Tin Roof
Tin Roof on Demonbreun is hosting a day of live music, green beer and Irish whiskey on March 14.
Across two rooms with four bars, the entertainment lineup will feature Cody Clark, Maniac and more.

March 17: Country Now Live
Country Now Live is hosting a night of country music benefiting St. Jude on March 17.
While the 6:30 p.m. CT show is not explicitly a St. Paddy’s Day celebration, it’s a great way to kick off your evening while supporting a good cause.
The showcase, which will take place at 6th & Peabody, will feature performances from Dustin Lynch, Cole Goodwin, Kayley Green, Kenny Whitmire, Jacob Hackworth and Graham St. Clair.

March 17: St. Patrick’s Day at Skinny Dennis
The East Nashville bar Skinny Dennis is hosting a no-cover St. Patrick’s Day celebration on March 17 at 8 p.m. CT.
The night will include festive drinks and live music by Sweet Megg and Wild Bill and the Bruisers. Admission is 21+.

March 17: Jay Bragg at The 5 Spot
Songwriter and composer Jay Bragg will hit the stage at The 5 Spot for his “Irish in New Vaudeville” show.
Bragg will step back in time, performing in full period costume from the 1860s, alongside The New Vaudevillians on fiddle, bodhran, bass and drums. The show will also feature Irish dancing by Middle Tennessee Irish Music and Dance.
To top it all off, the night will include a Guinness chugging contest.
