As we enter the new year and the winter weather grips the Kansas City area, entertainment options tend to become somewhat scarce. The schedule isn’t totally bereft of events, however, and many are of the family-friendly variety.
In fact, there will be musical events, plays and more things to do for children and parents every weekend for the next two months.
Here are nine family-friendly entertainment options for January and February.
Monster Jam

‘Jungle Book’

‘The Drum Closet’

‘The Fantasticks’
