“Freakier Friday” is in theaters now!
The highly anticipated sequel to the beloved 2003 film arrived Friday, with Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis reprising their roles as Anna and Tess Coleman, respectively.
Chad Michael Murray returns in the sequel as Jake, Anna’s boyfriend from the first film, Ryan Malgarini returns as Anna’s brother Harry, and Mark Harmon returns as Tess’ husband Ryan. The film also features new stars Julia Butters as Anna’s daughter Harper; Sophia Hammons as Lily, Anna’s soon-to-be daughter-in-law; and Manny Jacinto as Eric, Anna’s fiance.

The body-swap comedy stars Jamie Lee Curits and Lindsay Lohan, and debuts 22 years after their original film, “Freaky Friday.”
“Good Morning America” got an exclusive look at a clip from the sequel on Friday, as the film hit theaters.
The scene features Anna, Tess, Harper and Lily bickering, after they’ve been body-swapped with one another. In the clip, Harper — who appears to be body-swapped with Anna — is scolding the girls after they tell her to “chill,” saying that she’s “the adult here.”
“I am in charge,” she says.
“It doesn’t look like it,” Anna — a body-swapped Harper — responds.
“You just earned yourself a consequence,” Harper replies.
Tess — who appears to have been body-swapped with Lily — and Anna then scoff at Harper before walking away up the stairs.
Lily interjects, “Girls, this is serious! We all need to start getting along unless we want to be stuck like this forever!”

Tess replies, “You know, you lot are getting the better end of this deal. It’s us who are going to be dead in, like, five years.”
“She’s 37,” Anna adds, prompting Harper to respond, “I’m 36 and a half!”

Last week on “GMA,” Curtis opened up about her determination to make “Freakier Friday” happen.
“Everywhere in the world I go for other work, all they want to talk about is Lindsay and ‘Freaky Friday,'” Curtis said at the time. “That’s all they wanted to talk about. And they kept saying, You have to do a sequel, a sequel sequel….’ And I was like, ‘Yeah, great. Love it. But the truth is, Lindsay has to be old enough to have a teenager.'”
Jamie Lee Curtis teases 4-way switch plot twist in ‘Freakier Friday’
In the new film, Curtis said Lohan’s character Anna is now a “music producer” and “is engaged to be married to a young man named Eric.
“He happens to have a 15-year-old daughter. And Lindsay’s character, Anna, has a 15-year-old daughter named Harper,” she said, adding, “The soon-to-be sisters don’t get along very well.”
