Jacob Elordi and Olivia Jade Giannulli have called it quits after dating on and off for three years, Us Weekly can confirm.
“Things have been rocky between them all summer,” a source exclusively tells Us, noting, “Olivia moved to Paris to get away and have a fresh start for a bit. She needed a change of scenery.”
The influencer, 25, and Elordi, 28, “recently split,” per the insider, who says Giannulli is “enjoying being free in the city and is having a lot of fun right now.”
Elordi, meanwhile, was in Europe filming but is now back in Los Angeles, according to the source. “Jacob is very focused on work, and has been traveling, so the distance had put a strain on their relationship,” the insider explains.
“They both initiated the conversation and agreed it wasn’t working,” the source says, revealing, “They aren’t really in touch at the moment and are letting things cool off. Both of them are very busy doing their own things.”
The Kissing Booth actor was initially linked to Giannulli in December 2021 when they were spotted getting coffee in Los Angeles one month after Us confirmed Elordi’s split from Kaia Gerber. (Elordi and Gerber, 23, dated for over a year before they parted ways in November 2021.)
A source exclusively told Us at the time that Elordi and Giannulli had “been on some dates” and were “keeping it casual” as they continued to get to know each other.

“They both got out of relationships recently so they’re not rushing into anything serious,” the insider said in December 2021, referring to Giannulli’s own break up with Jackson Guthy that summer. “So far it’s going well and there’s sparks between them.”

Us confirmed in May 2022 that the Euphoria alum was officially dating Olivia Jade after the pair were spotted spending time at a dog park in L.A. with their pups earlier that month.

Amid the breakup, a source told Us that the influencer was “single and having fun” while Elordi was choosing to stay “completely focused’ on growing his career.
The pair sparked reconciliation rumors in May 2023 when they were seen at a car dealership together in L.A. Elordi was spotted bending down to hug Olivia Jade in one photo obtained by Just Jared. He was later photographed putting his arm across Olivia Jade’s chest while they waited for the car.
“They’ve been getting close again the past month or two and have traveled together quite a bit,” an insider exclusively shared with Us in June 2023, noting that the couple “wanted to see if their connection was still there.”
After jet-setting all over the world together in the summer of 2023, including a romantic trip to Italy that July, Us confirmed that Elordi and Olivia Jade had called it quits for a second time in January 2024.
Days after news broke of their split, Olivia Jade was spotted supporting Elordi following his Saturday Night Live hosting debut. She was seen leaving an SNL afterparty in New York City that same month, moments before Elordi exited the building.
The following month, Us reported that Olivia Jade and Elordi were giving their romance another shot but wanted to keep it “private.”
A second insider noted in February 2024 that “Olivia Jade doesn’t want to be known for being just Jacob’s girlfriend,” but the pair were going strong.
