Fox News host Greg Gutfeld and wife Elena Moussa have given fans a rare peek at their daughter, months after welcoming the child in what relationship experts describe as a “deeply intentional” chapter of their marriage.
The couple, married for more than 20 years, announced the birth of their daughter, Mira, late last year.
Gutfeld, 60, revealed the news during an episode of The Five, after taking time away from the show.
Moussa, 42, has since shared only a handful of snapshots, including a new Instagram Story on Friday that shows her cradling the infant. The baby donned a pink sweater while Moussa rocked a white linen outfit.
“Welcoming a child later in life, as Greg and Elena did, often brings deeper appreciation and patience,” said Gemma Logan, a wedding and relationship expert at The Foxy Hen.
“Older parents tend to have a stronger sense of identity, more life experience, and, in many cases, greater financial stability.”
Logan added that these qualities can foster “a nurturing, secure environment for the baby and a more thoughtful parenting dynamic.”
Still, she cautioned, the realities of raising a child at an older age can be demanding.
“It’s not without its challenges,” she said.
“Raising a child can be physically exhausting, and that toll is felt more acutely later in life. There can also be emotional stressors, from concerns about long-term health to the pressure of getting everything ‘right’ because it may feel like your only shot.”

“Intimacy can easily take a backseat, so scheduling time for each other becomes less of a luxury and more of a lifeline.”
Giovanna Smith, a matchmaker and relationship consultant, noted that the Gutfelds’ journey, becoming parents after two decades together, inevitably raises questions about fertility.
“It may have been a deliberate choice or the result of challenges along the way,” Smith said.
“What’s clear is that fertility is closely tied to age, particularly for women. Trying to conceive later in life can bring emotional, physical, and financial pressures that test a couple’s patience and resilience.”
However, Smith said those challenges can also lead to “a profound sense of gratitude and grounded parenting.”
She later acknowledged that late-life parenting is viewed differently by the public.
