LaKeith Stanfield, Jason Clarke, Sam Claflin and Trevante Rhodes have signed up for duty in F.A.S.T., the Taylor Sheridan-written action movie set up at Warner Bros. Pictures.
Ben Richardson, the main director of Sheridan’s 1923 show and known as a renowned movie cinematographer, is helming the feature that is being toplined by Brandon Sklenar.

F.A.S.T. concerns a former special forces commando, down on his luck after he returns Stateside, who is tapped by the DEA to lead a black op strike team against CIA-protected drug dealers in his town. Sklenar is playing the commando.
The quartet are playing a range of roles, from DEA agents to the commando’s former Delta Force colleagues.
Juliana Canfield is also on the call sheet for the production which will begin shooting later in August.
F.A.S.T. is being produced by David Heyman and Jeffrey Clifford of Heyday Films and Sheridan and Jenny Wood of Bosque Ranch Productions.
Overseeing are Warner Bros. president of production Jesse Ehrman and exec vp of production Kevin McCormick.
Stanfield earned an Oscar nomination in the best supporting category for his performance in 2021’s Judas and the Black Messiah and since then has starred in movies such as Haunted Mansion and Book of Clarence. He also starred in Apple TV+’s fantasy drama The Changeling, created by Kelly Marcel.
Clarke is set to have one of the busiest falls the actor has ever had. The actor is leading Apple TV+’s The Last Frontier, a crime thriller which he also executive produced and is due to debut later this year. He is also starring in an untitled Hulu limited series in which he plays the infamous South Carolina legal scion Alex Murdaugh, who was convicted of killing his wife and son.
Moviewise, Clarke is reuniting with Kathryn Bigelow for the director’s newest, A House of Dynamite, which could be a player on the festival and awards circuit.
Claflin, who may be best known for playing Finnick Odair in the original Hunger Games movies, starred in Prime’s acclaimed mini-series Daisy Jones and the Six and the lush adaptation of The Count of Monte Cristo.
Rhodes, best known for his performance in the Oscar-winning drama Moonlight, last starred in Tyler Perry’s crime thriller Mea Culpa.
Stanfield is repped by CAA, Stark Management, and Ginsburg Daniels while Clarke is repped by CAA, Robert Stein Management, and Goodman Genow. Claflin is repped by UTA, Independent Talent Group, and Doug Stone while Rhodes is repped by UTA and Jackoway Austen.
