When Eliza McLamb went on her first headlining tour for her stunning debut album Going Through It, she started to write what would become her second LP Good Story. The indie singer-songwriter was inspired by playing with a band for the first time and wrote those new songs with future live performances front of mind. Now, she will be able to play that new music as it was intended.

On Wednesday, McLamb announced a spring 2026 tour The Good Story tour where she’ll perform her forthcoming album Good Story, which arrives October 24.

More from Rolling Stone

Kicking off in Cambridge, Massachusetts in March, McLamb will hit clubs in major cities like Los Angeles, New York, and Chicago on the 27-date trek. Tickets go on-sale Friday, August 15 at 10 a.m, local time and fans can find more information here. Check out the tour dates below.

Alongside the news, the singer-songwriter has shared introspective rocker “Every Year.” The track starts with a percussive crash and fuzzy guitar riffs as McLamb gets meta about songwriting. “My stories kept me safe but now I understand/ A story is a lifeboat and sometimes there is land,” she sings softly. “To me, ‘Every Year’ is the thesis of the record. It provides the context that every other song lives in,” McLamb said in a statement. The track marks the musician’s second single following the energy-packed “Like the Boys.” Earlier this year, McLamb also released standalone single “Quitting.”

Produced by Sarah Tudzin, worked on Going Through It, Good Story came to life when McLamb convened to Drop of Sun Studios in the indie-rock hot bed of Asheville, North Caroline. There, the singer-songwriter was joined by Tudzin, guitarist Jacob Blizard, bassist Ryan Ficano, keyboardist Sarah Goldstone, and Death Cab For Cutie drummer Jason McGerr to help record the album. Good Story is steeped in themes of storytelling. “This whole record, it was like I was transient, flicking through the rolodex of my own memories and how they were organized and why they were organized that way,” McLamb says of the project.
