New Countdown Appears on Taylor Swift’s Website Ahead of Appearance on Travis Kelce’s Podcast originally appeared on Parade.
A new mysterious countdown has just been posted to Taylor Swift‘s website.
On the afternoon of Wednesday, August 13, a new countdown appeared on the site, similar to the one leading up to the announcement of her 12th studio album The Life of a Showgirl.
The countdown is set to expire at 7 p.m. ET, the exact same time Taylor’s episode of New Heights – the podcast hosted by her boyfriend Travis Kelce and his brother Jason Kelce – releases on streaming platforms.

After the countdown was up for roughly an hour, an orange lock was added to the left corner of the countdown screen, identical to the one posted to Swift’s socials and official online store following her album announcement. The keyhole seemingly replicates the shape of the Eras Tour stage, and the countdown screen also displays the same door shown during the tour’s closing in December 2024.
After two hours had passed, a second lock was added to the corner of the screen, this one a shimmering pink color. Shortly after, a third blue door popped up too.
Immediately after the new countdown was uploaded, fans began speculating as to what it was for.
“Track list and album cover reveal and deluxe announcement,” wrote one fan on X. “Probably another meticulously planned drop — Swifties are already setting alarms.” said another.
Some Swifties even theorized that Taylor and Travis could be announcing an engagement.

Swift was announced as the mystery guest on the upcoming New Heights episode on Monday, August 11, shortly before the announcement of the new album.
In a teaser clip posted to Instagram, Swift excitedly shows the Kelce brothers the cover art for The Life of a Showgirl and tells them the title for the first time.
Rumors of a new album started swirling Monday morning after her official fan account, Taylor Nation, made a suspicious post on Instagram.
Alongside a carousel of pictures from Swift’s Eras Tour, the account wrote, “Thinking about when she said ‘See you next era…’❤️🔥”
In every photo, Swift is wearing an outfit in a shade of orange, which turned out to be the color scheme for The Life of a Showgirl.
