On the same day that pop sensation Taylor Swift announced her new album, The Life of a Showgirl, her football star boyfriend Travis Kelce attracted some attention of his own.
On Tuesday morning, GQ Magazine shared its newest cover story, revealing Travis Kelce as the cover model, along with the cover story titled “America’s Sweetheart: Travis Kelce.”
As part of the story, Travis Kelce posed for a number of outdoor-themed photos for the magazine that have since gone viral on social media.
In one photo, Kelce holds an alligator shirtless in a swamp while wearing a big, furry hat. In another, he wears white jeans and a black leather jacket with nothing underneath. In yet another, he stands in the ocean, shirtless, underneath a neon yellow construction vest.
You can see all of the photos, by photographer Ryan McGinley, in the latest issue of GQ Magazine, but they have certainly caused quite a stir on social media with fans offering their reactions.
“From forest to ocean, man’s serving looks that could make even the trees jealous. GQ really outdid themselves,” one fan wrote in a post on X.
“I’m just a showgirl,” another fan added, in reference to Taylor Swift’s new album.
“Her way of promoting ts12 is astounding,” another fan added, in reference to Swift’s new album.
“Ohhh Taylor your so lucky,” someone else added.
“He’s giving ‘I’m just Ken’,” another fan wrote, referencing Ryan Gosling’s portrayal of Ken in the latest Barbie movie.
Kelce is currently preparing for what could be his final NFL season after his Kansas City Chiefs fell to the Philadelphia Eagles in the Super Bowl. After briefly considering retirement, Kelce is back for another season to play out his contract.
We’ll have to see how he performs and whether or not this will indeed be his final season.
