I Really Like This Part - BIZZY

With “I Really Like This Part,” her latest Bizflix installment, BIZZY trades heartbreak for the dizzying rush of fresh romance, delivering a giddy, windows-down anthem that’s as cinematic as it is confessional.

BIZZY’s new single “I Really Like This Part” is pure serotonin in song form – all butterflies, sunshine, and that dizzying rush of a brand-new fling.

It’s the track you throw on with the windows down after the best day with someone you can’t stop thinking about, singing like no one’s watching (except maybe the person in the car next to you).

The lyrics capture the magic of the honeymoon phase with a disarming specificity: “Where you walk me to my car, and you tell me that I’m pretty… where we both have whole hearts, and you haven’t seen my scars.” Every verse feels like a snapshot of something still sweet and unscripted – that rare, shimmering moment when nothing’s gone wrong and everything still feels possible.

The release follows her unapologetic breakup track “Tuesday,” which kicked off Bizflix Season 2 – a wildly original, self-made series where BIZZY drops music with a side of melodrama. Season 2 nailed her “fresh out of f*s to give” energy, right down to the scene where the ex who broke her heart literally runs her over. Now, Season 3 turns the page and shifts into rom-com territory, one episode at a time, introducing fans to a new record drenched in infatuation and romantic chaos.

Her music is diary-entry honest, cinematic in scope, and laced with sharp, self-aware humor. That mix of raw and relatable has earned her a growing fanbase who show up for the music, but stay for the drama.

And the drama isn’t slowing down. With her next record, BIZZY promises to serve the full spectrum of romance – from gut-punch heartbreaks to head-spinning highs – all told through her characteristic storytelling. If “I Really Like This Part” is any hint, we’re in for a season that’s less about dodging heartbreak and more about running headfirst into it. “God, I’ll cry if this is ever over,” she sings in the bridge, capturing exactly what it feels like to love something – or someone – so good, it scares you to lose it.

So, before the next Bizflix episode drops – and before BIZZY turns another messy, magical moment into a soundtrack-worthy anthem – we grabbed a few minutes for a lightning round of questions, including the text she’ll never send, the secret subtitle she’d give the song, and the hilariously accurate name she’d give an art exhibit of her Notes app.

A CONVERSATION WITH BIZZY

I Really Like This Part - BIZZY

Atwood Magazine: If “I Really Like This Part” was a text you never sent, who was it meant for and what held you back from sending it?

BIZZY: Omg fun question! It would be for my ex that I wrote the song about. I never played the song for him and the thought of sending it now makes me wanna throw up hahaha. I don’t wanna give him the satisfaction.

If the song had a subtitle in parentheses, what would it be?

BIZZY: “I Really Like This Part” (ur ab to fall in love)

Is there a line in the song you almost cut for being too honest? What made you leave it in?

BIZZY: Hmmm, honestly no. I feel like with all my music I just put everything in, even the lines I probably should cut.

If someone heard only the chorus and nothing else, what would they misunderstand about the song’s meaning?

BIZZY: I think that it might come off as a fear-based song if they only heard the chorus with the lyrics, “nothing’s gone wrong… and I don’t want it to stop.”

If a stranger listened to “I Really Like This Part” on repeat for a week, what would they understand about you that most people don’t?

BIZZY: Ooooh, I think that I’m a simp. But maybe that’s obvious right off the bat.

Is there a line or idea you’ve kept in your pocket for years, waiting for the right song? Did it finally find a home?

BIZZY: For this song, no. This one came straight in real time from the heart!

You’re on a long drive, windows down. One of your own songs comes on unexpectedly. Do you turn it up or skip it? Why?

BIZZY: Hahah, it depends on the mood I’m in. Sometimes I’m like f yea! And then, sometimes if I’m overwhelmed with music, I’m like ok no – skip.

If your Notes app was turned into an art exhibit, what would it be called?

BIZZY: Oh God. Haha. It would be called “explicit.”

What’s something that scares you right now in songwriting, in a good way?

BIZZY: Every time, after I write a good song, I freak myself out by thinking I’ll never write another one again. So that’s super fun and flirty.

What would a BIZZY song sound like if you made it for no one to ever hear?
