Chris Pratt gave his honest take on the anti-Trump community during his latest appearance on the Club Random podcast.
Instead of working on another Marvel Studios movie, the franchise’s stars have been involved in political affairs.
First, Mark Ruffalo slammed Joe Rogan for his criticism of Donald Trump’s ICE raids. Now, Pratt has asked voters to be more “reasonable” and not “allergic” to the U.S. president’s successes.
While joining Bill Maher on his podcast, he weighed in on the anti-Trump community, but first, he discussed his relationship with Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
Pratt revealed he has family ties to the Health and Human Services Secretary, as he is his mother-in-law’s cousin.
The actor believes Robert is “great” and “funny” but voters are so “mired in hatred,” they can’t see that.
Pratt said the secretary has “inherited” the political enemies of the president.
He explained, “In politics, you inherit enemies, and when you jump on the bandwagon with, you know, who’s the most divisive president ever, it makes sense that you’re going to be made to look terrible.”
The actor thinks voters aren’t giving Kennedy and the rest of the Trump administration the benefit of the doubt.
“There’s certain things that he oversees that seem to be supported in a bipartisan way, like getting terrible, toxic stuff out of our kids’ food,” he first clarified. “I think that’s a great thing. And so if you just do that, that’s amazing.”

He then went on to take a slight dig at other voters, saying, “I’d hate to be so mired in hatred for the president that any success from his administration is something I’d have an allergic reaction to.
“To be like, ‘Oh, well, if they do it, I don’t want it to happen. I’ll put Clorox in my children’s cereal myself!’” he added. “It’s like, come on, be reasonable here.
“There are certain things that would be a good thing to have. I want them all to be successful,” he mentioned.
Despite his outspokenness on politics during the podcast appearance, Pratt tries to stay out of the “nasty business.” He chooses not to listen to what the media is saying because he has dealt with his own “pure fiction” narratives.
“There’s a certain level of this in Hollywood because I’ve seen in Hollywood how the person you are can be such a contrast to the person that people being are told that you are.”
