Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are sure about each other—and ready to commit long-term. A source told Us Weekly that after spending months together out of the spotlight this spring and summer, the couple feels confident about their future.
They’re “on the same page [about settling down],” the source said. “They want to be married and have kids in the future. They’re both genuinely ready for that chapter.”
In December, a source told Us Weekly that Swift was sure Kelce was “the One” but wanted to take her time before marrying him.
More than six months later, a second source told the outlet she is confident she has met her match: “This time together solidified Taylor knowing that she wants to be with Travis forever.”
They have similar love languages, and she has never dated someone like him before, the insider added: “She leaves Travis love notes and buys sentimental gifts, and he does the same thing. [She] never experienced that in a partner before Travis.”
The first source noted this relationship has a lighter dynamic than some of her previous ones: “Travis has the best personality. Taylor thinks he’s hilarious and is never bored with him.”
The second source stressed their compatibility, saying that during their downtime together, “They found a lot of common ground they were not expecting, and it made their relationship stronger. [They] have found their counterpart in terms of ambition, work ethic and values.”
The insider added, “They are very empathetic people. Meeting someone like that is a dream come true for them.”
Kelce and Swift put their relationship on display during their joint New Heights interview, which aired last week.
During the podcast, Kelce called himself the luckiest man in the world, while Swift marveled over the joy he has added to her life.
Kelce first got her attention when he spoke on New Heights about his failed attempt to give her his phone number at her July 2023 Kansas City Eras Tour concert. The two then connected in private.
He proved he’s “the good kind of crazy,” Swift said. “I knew that he wasn’t crazy the first couple of times that we talked. I was just like, he’s truly getting to know me in a way that’s very natural, very pure, very normal. Also, just the way that he could make me laugh so immediately about normal things…Travis is like, he’s just a vibe-booster in everyone’s life that he’s in.
“He’s like a human exclamation point. He’s like when you take a picture on your phone and you push the enhanced color button, that’s like what you do to everyone’s life. I’ve used so many more exclamation points now, but I think it was just like…you’re so non-judgmental about people. And you were not judgmental about the fact that I knew nothing about the [football] world you were in.”
The couple celebrated two years of dating this summer. They also subtly shut down engagement rumors during her podcast appearance, as Swift was not wearing a ring on her left ring finger.
