Taylor Swift’s Opinion of Kylie Kelce Made Perfectly Clear

Pop star Taylor Swift, who has been dating Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce since 2023, has a lot to say about her boyfriend’s family.

During her appearance on the “New Heights” podcast on Wednesday, Swift discussed a plethora of topics, from her new album, her relationship with Travis Kelce, her opinion of Chiefs coach Andy Reid to even her and Jason Kelce’s love for number 13.

Interestingly, she also shared her true thoughts on Kylie Kelce, the wife of former Philadelphia Eagles star Jason Kelce and the sister-in-law of Travis Kelce.

Swift Speaks on Kylie Kelce

During the special episode, Swift detailed her first impressions of both Jason Kelce and Kylie Kelce. They met during the Chiefs’ divisional round showdown with the Buffalo Bills in the playoffs for the 2023 season.

Swift recalled how Jason Kelce drank beer with Bills fans before the game, as well as the former NFL star’s act of jumping out of their suite’s window while shirtless to celebrate Travis Kelce’s touchdown.

According to Swift, Jason Kelce is exactly as she thought he would be. She also couldn’t forget how Kylie Kelce tried to get her husband and kids to behave.

“Kylie is exactly as I thought she would be,” Swift said. “The realest. The smartest, the coolest.”

For what it’s worth, it didn’t take long for Kylie Kelce to show how cool she is. She was among the first people to react to Swift’s appearance on the “New Heights” podcast and how it quickly made waves online.

“I’m officially no longer the record holder for the most-watched episode of the other podcast, and there’s no way it’s even close,” Kylie Kelce said. “And I love that for me. It is very entertaining to watch the internet break—it’s just crumbling apart, and I love it.”

Swift’s ‘Great Challenge’ With Jason Kelce’s Kids

Swift’s “New Heights” appearance not only highlighted how close she is to Jason Kelce and Kylie Kelce, but also the bond she shares with the whole family.

The singer has grown close to the couple’s four daughters — Wyatt Elizabeth, Elliotte Ray, Bennett Llewellyn and Finnley Anne — and has even spent time with them. However, there was one thing that she struggled with at first when it came to the kids: introducing them to her cats.

Swift reportedly has three cats named Meredith, Olivia and Benjamin.

“It was actually really a great challenge because as soon as I got the kids around the cats, it was my goal to prove to them that they weren’t poisonous,” Swift explained via People, referring to the fact that Jason Kelce told his kids that cats are poisonous so they wouldn’t want one.

“And there’s no better way to prove that than to just hand them Benjamin, my rag doll cat, who lets humans hold him like he’s a baby.”

Fortunately for Swift, she was eventually able to get Jason Kelce’s kids warm up to her cats.

“And I mean, my favorite thing ever is when Benny will come up to me and just go, ‘I find Benjamin. I find him,'” she added. “And she’s just like over there, laying with him and petting him and holding him.”
