The first night of Live Shows for America’s Got Talent featured performances from the 11 artists hoping to be voted through by America to make the semifinals. Three of them will make it on America’s vote; seven of them will come to the end of their AGT journey.
The eleventh, Steve Ray Ladsen, won Sofia Vergara’s Live Golden Buzzer, and was sent straight through to the Sept. 23 finale, getting to skip the semifinal competition.

America’s Got Talent Night 1 Results Show Recap
Def Leppard opened the show with a high energy performance of “Pour Some Sugar on Me” that rocked the house.
Then host Terry Crews did a recap of Tuesday night’s performance, including the Live Golden Buzzer when Sofia Vergara selected Steve Ray Ladsen to go straight through to the finale. Both of Steve’s songs are in the Top 10 iTunes chart with last night’s song, “Ain’t Nobody Got Boots Like Mine,” No. 1 on the country charts.
First, Terry revealed the Top 5 by a process of elimination.
He first called to the stage B Unique Crew and Phobias. The act that made the Top 5 was B Unique Crew.
Second to get their results were Loco Pop Familia and CitiLimitz. Neither of these two acts made it through to the semifinals.
The third group included Tom Sandoval and the Most Extras and Shuler King. The act that made the Top 4 was Shuler King.
Next, Terry called up Jourdan Blue and LightWire, both Golden Buzzers. Staying in the competition were both acts.
The final acts to get their results were Golden Buzzer winner Charity Lockhart and Sirca Marea, with Sirca Marea taking the final spot in the Top 5.
Then Terry began the eliminations for the final three.
The first act that made the semifinals was LightWire. The second was Sirca Marea and the third and final act moving on was Jourdan Blue.
America’s Got Talent airs Tuesday and Wednesday nights at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC. Streams next day on Peacock.
