For the “faces of rock in K-pop” Dreamcatcher, the year and change since their hiatus has seen its seven members embark on new projects, the first sub-unit of which was UAU, consisting of JiU, SuA, and Yoohyeon. Last week, the trio put out Playlist #Your Youth, and to mark the occasion, they released a music video for “GENE,” a house-inspired track with a summer-themed video to go along with it.
Ollunder, whose previous work includes acts such as ATEEZ, is credited as the MIDI programmer and composer, while DWAYNE, YELO, and Kim Yeon Jae join Ollunder as the song’s writers.
Playlist #Your Youth is available now via Dreamcatcher Company and LEEGEUM Entertainment. It marks the latest release in a line of solo and group projects from Dreamcatcher, adding to works such as Siyeon’s group ChRocktikal’s We break, you awake and Dami’s solo debut “Chequered Flag.”
