Masterchef: Dyanmic Duos returned Wednesday night. And another dreaded Pressure Test showed up for the three members of last week’s losing Red Team: Adam & Joel, Julio & Rachel and Zach & Michelle.
It’s the toughest challenge yet, as each duo was challenged to create a three-course meal that replicated dishes from the judges’ restauraunts. They had to do an homage to an Egg Yolk Raviolo appetizer from Joe Bastianich’s restaurant, a Seared Scallops entrée from Tiffany Derry’s restaurant and Gordon Ramsay’s Sticky Toffee Pudding dessert from several of his restaurants.
Safe are last week’s winning Blue Team: Azu & Javier, Jessica & Jesse, and Tina & Aivan. The duo who failed turned in their aprons and left the MasterChef kitchen in the “Divide & Conquer” episode.

Who won the MasterChef: Dynamic Duos challenge tonight?

The winning duo for the Pressure Test was Zach & Michelle, who nailed two of the three dishes, only having issues on the dessert.
“I don’t know how we pulled that off, but I am so grateful right now,” Michelle said as they made their way to the balcony.
“Against all those odds, it just feels incredible. I never saw this coming,” Zach added.

The duo that got its walking papers was Adam & Joel, whose pasta on the raviolo was tough and whose scallops were rubbery from being overcooked.
“We’re disappointed we’re not going home with the trophy or the $250,000, it’s a little bit of a crush,” Adam said. “I’m not going to lie.”
Joel added, “It’s super competitive. This has been a lovely experience from the beginning. These two brothers from the South brought a lot of passion and focus. I would say our relationship has grown and we’ve put together some pretty awesome dishes.”
MasterChef airs Wednesday nights at 8 p.m. ET/PT on FOX.
