Take me to your best friend’s college town. Grouplove is coming to the Indiana University Auditorium on Thursday, Sept. 25.
The Los Angeles indie rock band, best known for their enduring No. 1 hit “Tongue Tied,” has proven to be a staying act in the music festival circuit – and in the canon of classic 2010s music. Now, fresh off the heels of their first live album, “Rock N’ Roll You Won’t Save Me,” the indie rock quintet is coming to Bloomington for one night only.
Los Angeles-based indie rock band “Grouplove” is coming to the IU Auditorium on Thursday, Sept. 25, 2025.
What is Grouplove known for?
Grouplove is far and away best known for their 2011 smash hit “Tongue Tied,” which peaked at No. 1 on the U.S. Alternative Chart and has since become a cultural touchstone, appearing in everything from iPod commercials, to an episode of Glee, to the soundtrack of the 2024 comedy “You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah.”
Since the release of their debut album, “Never Trust a Happy Song,” Grouplove has gone on to release six albums, play at festivals including Coachella and Lollapalooza, and even write the outro song for the classic Netflix original “Bojack Horseman.”
The band released their first live album, “Rock N’ Roll You Won’t Save Me,” in April 2025.
When do tickets for Grouplove at the IU Auditorium go on sale?
Tickets go on sale at the IU Auditorium website, iuauditorium.com, this Friday, Aug. 22, at 10 a.m. Tickets can also be purchased at the IU Auditorium Box Office, open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Grouplove will perform at the IU Auditorium on Thursday, Sept. 25 at 7:30 p.m.
