Karen Gillan is set to take a role in Amazon MGM’s highly anticipated Highlander remake, portraying Heather, the mortal wife of Connor MacLeod, played by Henry Cavill. On Instagram, Gillan shared her excitement about the upcoming project. Meanwhile, the principal photography is expected to begin toward the end of September under Amazon MGM’s United Artists banner. The production team includes Scott Stuber, Nick Nesbitt, Neal H. Moritz, 87Eleven Entertainment, and others.
