Rachel Sennott’s new original HBO comedy series, I Love LA, will hit TV screens near you very soon. Sennott, who previously starred in Bottoms and Shiva Baby, takes her rightful place as a triple threat on I Love LA, serving as the show’s creator, leading star, and executive producer.
Sennott previously teased the show in an interview with Elle earlier this year. “We shot a pilot first and now we’re writing the rest of the show,” she shared. “The whole cast, I feel so lucky to have them as a part of the show. They’re so special and so I think they’re all gonna blow you away.”

I Love LA will premiere on Sunday, November 2, at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT on HBO, with the rest of the eight-episode season dropping weekly until December 21. HBO Max subscribers can tune in through the streamer.

As the title implies, the HBO series is set in the city of Los Angeles. The current logline teases: “An ambitious friend group navigates life and love in LA.”
Sennott is set to star as Maia. Joining her is Josh Hutcherson as Dylan, Jordan Firstman as Charlie, Odessa A’zion as Tallulah, and True Whitaker as Alani. The first season will also see a host of star-studded guests, including Leighton Meester, Elijah Wood, Moses Ingram, and Lauren Holt.
