QHMG / Stone Country Records artist Ben Gallaher has announced the release of his new 13-track album ‘Time,’ arriving September 26. Pre-save and pre-add are available now.
Ahead of the album, Gallaher will release a teaser track, ‘Rearview,’ on Friday, August 29. The song is a windows-down singalong celebrating memories made with someone you love.
Produced by Neil Thrasher and Patrick Thrasher, ‘Time’ delivers Gallaher’s signature blend of high-energy heartland rock, Telecaster twang, and southern storytelling. The rising star co-wrote five of the album’s songs and played every lead guitar solo, including the melodic title track featuring the line, “I wish I could move on like time.”
“When we were trying to figure out what I wanted to name the album, this idea came to me, because it’s much bigger than just the song ‘Time’ itself,” Gallaher explains. “It’s about how every song and every guitar riff and every live show only come with time. And that’s exactly what went into making this record: time. These songs take me to different moments in my life and in my journey, all leading to finally making the record that I’ve always wanted to make.”
The album includes unreleased highlights such as ‘I’ll Take You,’ originally written as a ballad but reimagined in the studio as an upbeat track built around a driving guitar riff. ‘Betcha Money’ tells a classic country love story with a rock edge, while ‘Where Do You Go’ slows things down with a pulsing groove and heartfelt vocals.
Fans will also recognize previously released tracks. ‘Bullet,’ a powerful ballad with a cinematic video, earned spots on CMT Music’s 12 Pack Countdown and Taste of Country’s “Top 10 Video Countdown.” His cover of Bryan Adams’ ‘Cuts Like a Knife’ showcases Gallaher’s guitar chops, while ‘Stomp’ became a viral sensation, generating over 36 million social media views and bringing him more than 400,000 new followers.
Supporting Gallaher on the album are top Nashville session musicians on rhythm guitar, including four-time ACM Guitar Player of the Year Tom Bukovac, along with Jedd Hughes, Justin Ostrander, Adam Shoenfeld and Ilya Toshinskiy.
To celebrate the announcement, Gallaher will perform ‘Stomp’ live on WGN-TV Chicago’s Midday News this Friday before headlining Carol’s Pub that evening as part of his 2025 Bullet Tour. Upcoming dates include Sept. 11 in Decatur, Georgia, and Sept. 18 in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
‘Time’ marks Gallaher’s second release with Stone Country Records, following his 2023 debut ‘Country in the House,’ which has helped his catalog surpass 31 million total streams.
