The latest “Superman” movie is expected to stream on HBO Max in the coming months, following its theatrical release earlier this summer.
When is the new ‘Superman’ expected to be available to stream?
The DC Studios and Warner Bros. production, directed by James Gunn, opened in theaters July 11. Under the studio’s release strategy, major films typically begin streaming 60 to 100 days after their box-office debut. Since Warner Bros. owns HBO Max, it is presumed the movie will be released exclusively on the streaming platform in September or October.
David Corenswet stars as Clark Kent alongside Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane in the first feature of DC Studios’ revamped cinematic universe. The film reintroduces the iconic superhero to audiences with a fresh storyline under Gunn’s creative direction.
Warner Bros. has not confirmed an exact streaming date. HBO Max subscribers can access the film through either ad-supported or ad-free plans.
“Superman” is available digitally to buy or rent on platforms like Amazon Prime and Apple. Stay tuned for its HBO Max arrival.
