In May, Duchess Sophie visited staff and students at the Royal School for the Blind Charity. A post from the event was shared by the Buckingham Palace Instagram account afterwards. Set to Rusted Roo’s “Send Me On My Way,” the montage included clips of the Duchess interacting with the children at the school, and in the video, she could be seen getting down to the eye level of the kids to talk to them and take pictures.
Prince William was also spotted copying the move last December when he visited the Mercian Regiment for a Christmas lunch and festive activities. The Prince of Wales later posted pictures of the event to his Instagram story, and in one of the photos, he could be seen bending down to greet a young boy at eye level as they had a quick conversation.
