Meghan Markle confused royal fans during one of her recent appearances after she made a comment about Prince Archie. Prince Harry and the Duchess of Sussex appeared on a new special programme about Disneyland’s 70th anniversary, which aired last Sunday.

The pair talked about their visit to Disneyland earlier this summer with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, which coincided with their daughter’s birthday on June 4. In the documentary and Meghan’s social media post about their trip, the Sussex children can be seen admiring a huge birthday cake made for the princess. But Meghan left fans stunned when she revealed in the show that six-year-old Archie asked when his own “birthday is”.

The Duchess said: “For us to be able to have our own childhood memories and then watch that play out through our daughter’s birthday.”

She added: “So Archie asked, when is MY birthday?”

Fans were left baffled over how the six-year-old could not remember when his birthday is, especially since it took place a month before, on May 6.

One user wrote on X: “Is he not quite the full ticket? His birthday was the month before.”

A second one asked: “Didn’t he just have a birthday?”

Another one replied: “Yes! Makes no sense that he would ask that question.

A fourth one said: “Oh good Lord, my kids knew their birthday before they were 5!”

A fifth one added: “Considering his is May and Lilibet’s is June, his would have been just a few weeks before this pic was taken! What an odd question to ask, just after he had actually had his birthday.”

To mark Archie’s birthday this year, Meghan posted a new picture on her Instagram account, showing the youngster with his back to the camera as he looked out to sea against a sunset backdrop.

She captioned the post: “Our son. Our sun. Happy 6th birthday to Archie! Thank you for all of the love, prayers, and warm wishes for our sweet boy. He’s six! Where did the time go?”
