Lauren Alaina is getting candid about balancing her music career and motherhood.
The country star, 30, welcomed her daughter, Beni Doll Arnold, with husband Cam Arnold on June 11.
On August 27, Alaina posted a “Get Ready With Me” TikTok video in which she did her makeup as she revealed that her firstborn will be joining her on tour with Rascal Flatts.
“Get ready with me for the first time in forever. If you missed it, I’m a mom now,” the Georgia native began.
“So I have a little girl, her name is Beni. It has been quite a journey…learning to be a mom. I had to overcome quite a few obstacles with breastfeeding,” she continued.
“We’re kinda getting into our groove now, so that’s great news. It only took us two months, and we’re still working on it, honestly” the singer-songwriter added through laughter.
The American Idol alum then opened up about the challenges of getting back on the stage while caring for her bundle of joy.
“I’m getting ready to go back out on the road. Honestly, not really sure how to feel about it. I mean, I love what I do, so I’m excited to, but I’m scared, too, and being away from her for 90 minutes sounds like the most impossible thing I’ve ever heard of.
“Beni’s coming on the road, and her grandmothers are gonna come with me.”
Alaina then shared her happiness over latest radio single, “All My Exes,” and the upcoming tour.
“I’m so excited! I haven’t had a radio single in so long. Literally growing up, all I ever wanted was to be on the radio, so I’m excited that we’re going back out to the radio, and hopefully you guys will hear it on your local stations. Call and request it, very very pumped.
“We have a big tour coming up that I’m super excited about. We’re going back out with Rascal Flatts on tour. I’m so excited about that. I did the whole tour pregnant last time, and now I’ll have a newborn. They’re gonna get to see what came out of the bump.
“Nicest guys ever. So, I’m excited that we’re going back out with them, that I’ll be able to see my feet this time.”
Later in the video, the new mom said, “It feels so weird to get ready. My daughter—next time I have to feed her in the next 20 minutes, I’m gonna go in there, she’s gonna be like, ‘Who’s this chick?'”
Alaina further expressed her appreciation for mothers, saying, “Let me tell you something right now. All you moms out there fixing your hair and doing your makeup…what? I was not giving you enough credit. Even right now, I’m like completely—I know she’s taking a nap and she’s fine, and I’m like, ‘I need to be in there with my baby.’ Moms, shout out. I don’t do this often.”

Lauren Alaina Announces Beni Doll’s Birth
On June 13, Alaina and Arnold announced Beni’s birth in a heartfelt Instagram post.
The acclaimed country artist revealed that she wrote a song called “Heaven Sent” about her daughter, and that she found out she was pregnant following her father’s tragic death.
“You, to your dad and me, are absolute perfection. We are honored God chose us to be your parents. Thank you to everyone for all of the love, prayers and support for our precious daughter,” the proud mom wrote, in part.
“I have a little surprise for everyone. To celebrate the most precious miracle on Earth I have decided to release a song I wrote about my daughter. We learned she was coming in a time of deep sadness after the loss of my daddy,” she continued.
“I wasn’t sure when I would share Heaven Sent but watching my own husband become a father the last couple of days has made me want to share it with you now.”
