The Young and the Restless spoilers for Tuesday, September 2 continue with Phyllis’ plan to bulldoze anyone and anything that might step in the way of Phyllis getting what she wants. Today, it’s Amanda’s turn to bear the brunt of her… enthusiasm.
Amanda Takes a Risk for Phyllis
Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) yelled at Cane (Billy Flynn) for backing down and not following her, er, HIS dreams. Who cares about Charlie and Mattie? What about Phyllis’ needs! She told Nick (Joshua Morrow) to step aside; she knows what she’s doing. Phyllis will bring all of Genoa City to its knees. She did some research! With AI! Phyllis knows all about AI! She read an article about it.
All Phyllis needs is just a few small things. That Amanda (Mishael Morgan) can provide. What does Amanda mean, she doesn’t want to provide it? Is she out to get Phyllis? Everyone is out to get Phyllis, you know. Amanda doesn’t want to make an enemy of Phyllis, does she? What could go wrong? Remember when Amanda pulled strings to get Phyllis invited to Dumas’ big party reveal? Nothing went wrong there, did it?

Cane seems to have been convinced by Victor’s weak threat to expose that Colin (the late Tristan Rogers) got the money to start Cane’s empire by befriending a rich, old lady who then left Cane all her money. We don’t see the scandal there, but Cane seems cowed.

Claire just got some good romantic advice from Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), a woman who knows her stuff, having married the same man over and over and over again. With Nikki’s words ringing in her ears, Claire gives Kyle her answer.
