More than 700 All Time Low fans packed a Boston beer garden Tuesday to see the band at a free pop-up show.
The popular punk rock band performed a roughly 45-minute acoustic set at Cisco Brewers in Fenway on the evening of Sept. 2 — marking the first-ever pop-up show at the venue.
Songs on the band’s setlist included “The Weather,” “Something’s Gotta Give,“ “Monsters,” “Damned If I Do Ya (Damned If I Don’t)” and a new single called “OH NO!,” which All Time Played played live for the first time.
“We spoil you guys with song debuts,” Gaskarth told the crowd.
After teasing “OH NO!” last month, All Time Low was so impressed with the response from fans that they said they would fully release the song this coming Friday, Sept. 5.
All Time Low announced the show just one before on Monday, Sept. 1. Frontman Alex Gaskarth told the crowd the show was in celebration of the band booking a second night at MGM Music Hall at Fenway in November.
“We honestly kind of didn’t know if we were going to do the second night here, and then that locked in pretty last minute and then we were like, ‘well how do we celebrate?,’” Gaskarth said. “So thank you very much to Cisco for allowing us … to use this beautiful space to play for you guys.”
All Time Low will kick off their world tour in October. The band will perform at MGM Music Hall Fenway in Boston on Nov. 22 and Nov. 23. Meanwhile All Time Low’s forthcoming album, “Everyone’s Talking” will be released on Friday, Oct. 17.
All Time Low, which formed in 2003, has earned multiple gold and platinum certified singles and albums. The band has notched five straight top 10 entries on the Billboard 200 chart, including “Nothing Personal” (2009), “Dirty Work” (2011), “Don’t Panic” (2012), “Future Hearts” (2015) and “Last Young Renegade” (2017).
All Time Low’s smash hit “Monsters (featuring blackbear)‚” off the band’s 2020 album “Wake Up,” spent 18 weeks atop Billboard’s Alternative Airplay chart and became the longest charting song ever on the Alternative Radio Mediabase Chart.
“Monsters” earned All Time Low nominations for Alternative Song of the Year and Alternative Artist of the Year at the 2022 iHeartRadio Music Awards, in addition to nominations for Top Rock Song at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards and Favorite Rock Artist at the 2021 American Music Awards.
Their most recent album “Tell Me I’m Alive” was released in 2023 and contains the No. 1 Alternative radio single “Sleepwalking.”
