Grace Pettis is an award-winning singer-songwriter known for her blend of folk, country, and Americana music with a whole lot of soul.
She is currently on tour and will be performing at the Fiddle and Bow Music Hall in Honea Path, located at 45 N. Main St., on September 7.
Doors will open at 2 p.m. and the show kicks off at 3 p.m. Tickets are priced at $20.

Fans can expect her to showcase songs from her recent album, “Down To The Letter,” alongside some of her songs, such as “Working Woman.”
Anya Hinkle, winner of the Merlefest Song Contest, is set to open the showcase.
“The Fiddle and Bow Music Hall takes great pride in hosting some of the world’s best talent at our venue,” according to owner Justin Thomas.
“Grace and Anya are amazing,” Thomas said.

Grace Pettis is a year-round touring artist who has made a name for herself with performances at prestigious events like SXSW and Folk Alliance International last year.
Attendees of her show at the Fiddle and Bow Music Hall can expect a show that highlights her range and songwriting skills.
Pettis’ new album, “Down to the Letter,” released in June 2024, has been praised for its lyrics and rich melodies.

According to a press release, the record showcases Pettis’ rich voice and was produced by Mary Bragg (Natalie Price), mixed by Jon Estes, Robyn Hitchcock, Dolly Parton, and mastered by John McLaggan, Parachute Mastering.
Ruthie Foster, Grammy Award-winning blues artist, describes how Pettis has a melodic way of writing that not only stays in your head but also reads what’s sitting in your soul.
“She writes what I’ve always wanted to say,” Foster said.
Pettis has won several prestigious awards, including top prizes in national songwriting competitions.

Grace’s songs have been recorded by other artists, including Sara Hickman and Ruthie Foster, with three co-writings on Foster’s Grammy-nominated album, “Healing Time” (2024).
Since 2017, Pettis has been a member of the Austin-based trio Nobody’s Girl alongside Rebecca Loebe and BettySoo.
“In a lot of ways, I think of ‘Nobody’s Girl’ as a super fun project that lets us blow off steam, because it gives us a whole different channel to tap into,” Loeb said.
“However, most of all, I’m always really moved by the power of what we’re able to access as a trio,” Loebe said. “Just the power of three voices on stage together, carrying the same message.”
The band released their first EP in 2018 and a full-length studio album in 2021 to critical acclaim.
