Wisconsin Highland Games

Get your fill of battle-ax-throwing, Celtic music, longbow competitions and, of course, haggis at the Wisconsin Highland Games at the Waukesha County Expo Center, 1000 Northview Road, Waukesha. Opening ceremonies are 5 to 10 p.m. Aug. 29, with free admission. The games are from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Aug. 30 and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Aug. 31. Urban Bird Hike at Lakeshore State Park
