Lil Tay claims she is misunderstood.
The OnlyFans star, who made $15 million on the racy platform in just two weeks, claims she said women who work 9 to 5 jobs are “failures” because she was just trying to “motivate” them to make more money.
“I get to make more money than most people ever f–king touch in their life,” the 18-year-old exclusively tells Page Six of the perks of putting out scandalous content on OnlyFans.
“Second of all, like, I want to do what I want to do with myself and my body. … Every woman should be empowered and every woman should do whatever the hell they want to do.”
Tay says that despite public perception, she was “broke” growing up and never got a dime from her folks.
“That’s exactly why I had to get my money up. And that’s exactly why I can flex on you now and motivate you to get your money up,” she says.
The social media star, who boasts 5.7 million followers on Instagram, has been open in the past about her tough childhood, which included allegations of neglect and an abusive household.
Tay says the bad experiences she went through were “never” with her mom, whom she says “sacrificed” a lot for her and always “supported” her, but rather with a “different household,” referencing her father.
“I was given, like, rotten food for lunch and s–t like that, but I moved on,” she tells Page Six. “I’m good.” The teen’s dad, Christopher Hope, has adamantly denied his daughter’s claims.
The father-daughter duo have had a tumultuous history, with Tay even blaming Hope for her 2023 death hoax, which she still claims to this day was not a publicity stunt.
Tay adds in Page Six’s exclusive interview that she places a lot of importance on money because of her childhood, saying, “People say that money doesn’t buy happiness, but it does.”
However, posting seductive content online can draw unscrupulous people into the life of a young woman.
Tay brushes off, though, any concerns about “creepy” older men signing up for her OnlyFans, stating they’ve been looking at her pictures since she was 15, so she may as well make money off of it.
One person in particular, whom she refers to as her “top spender,” recently asked her to pose with bottles of baby oil to simulate a Sean “Diddy” Combs-style “Freak-Off.”
The photo shoot got a lot of backlash on social media, but Tay says she feels “f–king great” about her decision to post those pics because of how much money she made.
However, all of the attention has come at a price. Tay tells us that her $15 million earnings reveal will be her last because of a scary situation that happened to her recently.
“A couple of days ago, there was somebody in my bushes trying to take photos of me, and I was like, ‘Is that TMZ? I can’t tell what this is, but there are people try to get into my backyard,’” the influencer says.
There’s people taking photos of me at the beach,” she continues. “It might jeopardize my safety.”
Tay adds, “My friends were, like, ‘Maybe you should start telling people how much you’re making.’”
The “Sucker 4 Green” singer claims that she has been taking boxing lessons to protect herself and has hired security. She also claims she is in full control of her finances.
“I’m in control. I could do whatever I want with my money,” she says. “I’m looking at a couple of Bugattis.”
