Imperial Age release new music video for ‘Gnosis’

The Last Dinner Party have announced a tour of the UK, Europe and Australia that will kick off in November 2025. Check out full details below.

The BRIT Award-winning band are preparing to release their second studio album ‘From The Pyre’ on October 17 via Island Records, and they recently shared lead single ‘This Is The Killer Speaking’.

Now, the London five-piece have announced an extensive tour to support the record. After a run of already sold out in store events around the UK in October, they will play a run of UK and Ireland headline shows in November, starting at Dublin’s 3Arena on November 14.

That run concludes with two huge shows at London’s O2 Academy Brixton on December 7 and 8, before they head to Australia for a run of dates in January. In February, they begin a tour of Europe, finishing up in Oslo on March 6.

Tickets for all shows go on general sale at 10am local time on September 12 and you can get your UK and European tickets here. Fans who pre-order the album here also will be offered access to a tour pre-sale which will be held at 10am on September 9.

Writing on Instagram, the band wrote: “We’re bringing our travelling troupe of mythmakers to the world, with a brand new show full of chaos, catharsis and light!”

‘From The Pyre’ is set to be the follow-up to their critically acclaimed 2023 debut album ‘Prelude To Ecstasy’, which NME awarded four stars, saying the band captured “enough self-belief and magnetism to set them apart from what’s come before.”

Speaking about the new album, the band have said: “This record is a collection of stories, and the concept of album-as-mythos binds them. ‘The Pyre’ itself is an allegorical place in which these tales originate, a place of violence and destruction but also regeneration, passion and light.

“The songs are character-driven but still deeply personal, a commonplace life event pushed to pathological extreme. Being ghosted becomes a Western dance with a killer, and heartbreak laughs into the face of the apocalypse.”

Earlier this year, guitarist and multi-instrumentalist Lizzie Mayland – now going by L.Mayland – told NME about what fans can expect from upcoming Last Dinner Party music, saying that their latest run of material is inspired by “darker themes” and “processing heavier emotions”.

“It’s a pretty dark time, so I think that is reflected in the music because we’re in touch with the world,” Mayland added. “It’s not all sad, though; there are some bops as well! It’s not all downbeat either – they’re fun, angry songs. I won’t go into too much detail, though; you’ll have to wait and see.”

While at the BRITS 2025 this year, where they took home the award for Best New Artist, the band also dropped some hints to NME about the upcoming album.

“Hopefully new music [is coming soon],” said frontwoman Abigail Morris. “We’re working on it at the moment and it feels really good to be creating again after touring again for so long.”

She continued: “We’re approaching the second album the same way we approached the first album, which is by doing what we want to do without any pressures or expectations. Obviously, there is a little bit of anxiety about the sophomore thing, but we’re just sticking to what we want to do. It’s about doing what feels right for now.” You can watch that interview in full via the video above.
