WISCONSIN RAPIDS − The Arts Council of South Wood County is bringing a Willie Nelson tribute show to Wisconsin Rapids.
“Willie & Family Live: Michael Moore’s tribute to Willie Nelson” is set for 7:30 p.m. Oct. 9 at the Performing Arts Center of Wisconsin Rapids, 1801 16th St. S. in Wisconsin Rapids, according to an announcement.
The 90-minute show features Michael Moore, a Texas native, who will perform Nelson’s hits such as “Whiskey River,” “Good-Hearted Woman” and “Mamas Don’t Let Your Babies Grow Up to be Cowboys.”
Moore is known for his vocal and guitar skills, which closely resemble Nelson’s style. The show aims to provide an immersive experience, with visuals reminiscent of Nelson’s iconic performances.

Tickets cost $49 for adults and $15 for students. Groups of 10 or more who buy tickets in one transaction will receive a 15% discount when purchasing directly through the Arts Council.
