BTS member Park Jimin might have returned to his blonde look leaving ARMYs asking for more, but his infamous dating controversy with actress Song Da-Eun refuses to die down. Soon after he debuted his new look, another round of update surfaced in his alleged relationship rumour. Jimin and Song were confirmed to be together in the past by BigHit Music, though the label recently said in a statement that they parted ways long time back.

Evidence no 1: Song in Jimin’s room

On September 5, Koreaboo reported that Song once did a Weverse live from “Jimin’s bed”. Stating new “evidence” discovered by some netizens, the report pointed at a post on Weibo that alleged Song did a broadcast earlier in the year, comparing a photo from the live and of Jimin’s house. It further reminded netizens that the live seemingly between April and June had her singing Jungkook’s single Seven. The photo shared in the post of Jimin belonged to a house tour Jimin did during his live broadcast in 2023.

Evidence no 2: Flower bouquet

Another piece of “evidence” surfaced when a Dior flower bouquet Jimin received, came under scanner. Internet users noticed that the same bouquet appeared on Song’s Instagram, sparking rumours that it was given to her as a gift from Jimin.

Evidence no 3: Jimin’s letter

A letter by Jimin to fans became a topic of discussion too. A netizen pointed out that the BTS member had shared a message to his followers, but said that could possibly hold a hidden message to Song. The message dated was written on June 14 said Jimin was happy to celebrate “the first day together after BTS’s debut anniversary.” However, many now claim that it was a secret hint at Song’s birthday that falls on June 14, as Jimin chose the date as a special day, which was a day after BTS’s debut day on June 13.

The letter translated to, “Jimin: June 14 feels like January 1 in some way. After the team was formed on June 13, June 14 marks another year together. That’s why I think it’s that much more special. It’ll be another year today. Let’s spend another good new year starting today. I love you.”

Jimin, Song Da-Eun’s dating controversy

Dating rumours about the two first surfaced in 2022. Last week, BTS’ label BigHit Music issued a statement where it confirmed that Jimin and Song were indeed in a relationship years ago, but they eventually broke up.

Recently, Jimin and Song’s dating news resurfaced when she posted a now deleted video of Jimin exiting an elevator on her TikTok. The clip showed her waiting inside an apartment elevator. As the elevator doors open, Jimin walks out, visibly surprised by her presence. The video was allegedly shot at Jimin’s current home at Nine One Hannam in the Hannam-dong neighborhood of Seoul, where he resides.
