Over a month after the incident occurred, the Coldplay kiss cam scandal is making headlines once again.
On Saturday, Sept. 6, TMZ reported that the woman caught in the now-infamous video, Kristin Cabot, has filed for divorce.
The outlet reports that the former Astronomer chief people officer filed to separate from her husband Andrew Cabot at a court in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, on Aug. 13.
Daily Mail also claims to have spoken with Andrew’s ex-wife Julia, who reportedly confirmed the separation. She claims she texted her ex after the kiss cam video went viral, to which he allegedly responded, “Her life is nothing to do with me.”

Cabot and former Astronomer CEO Andy Byron first went viral following Coldplay’s concert in Boston on July 16. During the band’s “Kiss Cam” segment, a camera panned to what appeared to be the pair in each other’s arms. But once they realized they were on the big screen, the duo broke apart, each of them hiding their faces.
The audience could be heard laughing and cheering as Coldplay’s frontman Chris Martin joked from the stage, “Either they’re having an affair, or they are just very shy.”
The clip quickly started making rounds online, with the internet quickly realizing that Byron was Cabot’s boss — and that they were both married to other people.

In the days following the viral moment, both Byron and Cabot resigned from the company.
Astronomer later capitalized on the publicity, hiring Martin’s ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow to star in a commercial for the business.
